The 2nd Annual Scheels Sports 3D Match and Action Trackchair using my modified compound bow

I participated in this match for the first time this year! It was a lot of fun and I am blessed to have such wonderful friends willing to help this "old" man out! Special thanks to Chase, Jackson and Michael for all of their help!!!
The modified compound bow was given to me by the Montana Bowhunters Association a few years ago. Crossbow use during archery season in Montana is illegal and the only legal disabled archery season option is to go through the permitting process to modify your own compound bow.
I had very little knowledge about this process and found it onerous and difficult to get information on technology and how to adapt a bow when my body wasn't able to work a bow over a decade ago.
A couple of years ago I was advocating for disabled hunters Crossbow use during archery season here in Montana. At that time I met several members of the Montana Bowhunters Association who listened to my story and subsequently bought, modified and made it possible for me to shoot and hunt with a bow again!!
