This was a great time and much needed trip! I'm using a BOG Tree Stand Rifle Rest moded onto my Action Trackchair. My rifle is a Tippmann Arms 22lr with an Eotech 512 weapon sight. Again, many thanks to everyone who made this trip such a success!! Remember, just ask enough people, and you are sure to find the help you need!! I do know that I had a good time, which is the only thing that should matter. Yes, it's fun to win, but I have fun just participating these days!! Review of Wheelchair Accessible Sidewalks in Billings, MT Part 1

I decided that I would review the sidewalk situation here in Billings, MT, on one of our business roads for access and difficulty associated with going to one of these while using a wheelchair utilizing the sidewalks. This is the sidewalk on my road. It is much better but it still needs a lot of work. I think it's pretty bad when wheelchair users have to use the road rather than the sidewalk because it's better for their physical welfare. Video filmed with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and nk editing done.

    That range is disappointing, think about doing a lithium battery upgrade, my tri-ride T-rocks can drive me from my house, up to the lake, around the lake and home, 13, yes 13 miles in total and I still have 50% battery, with a climb of 200m in 4 miles and doing up to 30mph on the road.

    • @redneckgimpreview
      @redneckgimpreview 2 місяці тому

      @Bluetoothedshark I'm going that route when it's time for new batteries. But I think the batteries installed are a lithium deep cycle. I do know that the tracks do take more power than a wheeled ride like that tri-ride. I'm happy with the performance overall. I just realize its limitations and stay within those boundaries.

    How's far is your range

    • @redneckgimpreview
      @redneckgimpreview 2 місяці тому

      @darbybarker7280 it depends entirely on temperature and terrain. Very cold approximately 10° F and steep I was able to get a little over a mile and a half out and got nervous on the way back because I was on my last bar of power and it was blinking. When it is warm, about 50° F and flat, I am able to go all day from about 7 am to about 6 pm and have three bars left.

    Excellent very informative video👍 Last year was the first time that I hunted from a vehicle. I’m an amputee of the left leg and also suffer from Multiple Sclerosis. The issues I had unfortunately was being able to find areas on block management and state land that allowed vehicles in. Most areas I found were walk in only which obviously presents a problem to someone who has the hunt from a vehicle permit.

    ❤ Looks good. Just curious as to whether it can also be used indoors, and whether it climbs stairs? What kind of batteries does it use, and what’s the speed? Is it available in the US, how much does it cost, and is it covered by Medical insurance, or are they still stuck in the dark ages? BTW: Congratulations and thanks for the demonstration. Stay blessed.😊

    • @redneckgimpreview
      @redneckgimpreview 2 роки тому

      I'll do my best, the ST is too wide for you to use indoors, depending on your seat size, you'll be looking at anywhere from 37" to 43" in width. I think the narrow is feasible for indoors but you'll have to check with Action Trackchair about that. Stairs are too steep and are a tipping hazard. It has two lithium deep cycle batteries that power it. It has a maximum speed of 3mph give or take and they can go up to ten miles on a charge. As for insurance, they're still in the cro-magnon era of evolution. Thanks again and hope it helps.

    does it freewheel for transport on planes?

    • @redneckgimpreview
      @redneckgimpreview 2 роки тому

      It has a free wheel option for times that the batteries drain completely. I have not taken it on an airplane because it would be difficult to transport it at the destination. We have a trailer for traveling and purchased a cover for it. Also, remember that even in free wheel mode, keep your speed down to 3mph when towing or pushing your chair. Good luck!!

    I would say for the issues you have going in to it you did a good job. As some have said the knife could be a lot sharper but not everyone will be out there with a sharp knife. I had to turn the volume off because of the loud chewing going on but that is also a bad pet peeve of mine. I use the black beard rope as part of my bushcraft tinder box but I also have some of it already cut up so it packs in smaller. As a future advice maybe go at a project like this with some already prepared to cut back on time as well as make things much easier on yourself.

    • @redneckgimpreview
      @redneckgimpreview 2 роки тому

      Good advice. I think the chewing was my camera operator. I have had a discussion about it. Should not happen again. As for the knife issue, I have been acquiring knives and have bought almost $1600 worth. As soon as my broken arm is healed up, I plan on getting some videos done.
