Walt Disney's life remembered- Griffith Park Carousel, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tam O'Shanter

We spent the day celebrating and honoring the life of Walt Disney. Thus day was so incredibly special to us and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
We started off at The Griffith Park Carousel that inspired Walt to build Disneyland. We then went to Forest Lawn Memorial Park and paid our respects to his graveside (The most BEAUTIFUL cemetery we've ever seen) and ended the day having dinner at Tam O'Shanter and eating at the table that Walt and his imagineers sat at countless times to go over blue prints and more.
The experience at Tam O'Shanter was an absolute highlight and we felt honored to be there and witness the history of this beautiful Scottish Steak House. It was built in 1922 and when you're inside, you truly feel like you're in another time.
Come along with us, and Mingle With The Cringle's, as we celebrate and honor the history of the man who has brought so much joy and happiness into so many people's lives.
We are huge advocates of remembering what Walt would have wanted with his company.. and spending the day doing what we did helped our hearts feel settled in the positive direction that Disney will always be headed. There are ups and downs with any company, but truly, the heart of the company is still alive and well. We suggest this day to anyone who is a fan.
