@@billythefxck lol I said the same thing in regards to Torres. He slid to second but the 2nd baseman had his knee on the bag, which prevented him from touching the bag. Torres was called out. And you're confusing this rule with something else. The defender was NOT preventing the runner from going to 2nd, merely preventing the runner from touching the bag.

I'm only halfway thru watching this but it's obvious he's a great fundamentally sound outfielder. Takes his time fielding the ball, which keeps his body balanced for a good strong accurate throw, never throws over the cut-off man, which keeps runners from taking extra bases on him, gives the infielder the ability to cut down advancing runners, and can redirect off target throws. He also is remarkably accurate, making it possible for a quick strong throw from the the cut-off man, and a quick easy tag for the catcher. And all these throws are on a line, strong arm. Of course, these are the best of the best throws, but still, very impressive.

Well of course he isn’t going to oook fast he’s 6’7 nobody that tall legs move like tyreek hills legs. They take bigger strides but it’s a lot easier for tall guys like to have a good arm with those long arms. Even though I’m 5’11 my wing span is 78” which is about 6’6 which allows me to throw 95-98mph for my height.

Roberto Clemente of the Pirates used to have fungo's hit in warmup to him on the warning track and he'd then throw one to the plate on a rope. Right field at old Forbes Field actually had a dogleg and in the corner to get to home plate the throw had to go over the first few rows of the stands. I was a little kid and saw this in person...very impressive as the throw never got more than about 15 feet off the ground. He put so much backspin on it the ball just wouldn't drop (like airsoft hop-up) and it made a sizzling sound as it went by in front of me. Very few people tried to run on Clemente....for good reason.

Judge threw to the cut off man then the seco.d throw was the deciding throw. I'm not saying that he is a slouch, he has a good arm but he is no Ichiro or Jeremy Bernitz or Vlad Guerrero or Raul Mondesi or Larry Walker, he is similar to Dave Winfield in my opinion & that's saying alot. He has had a good start to his career & I wish him the best. I remember the game being played with appreciation for the little things. Also, when the plays are made in Yankee stadium, it must be remembered that the right field area in the Bronx is very much smaller than almost every other field in baseball ! Yankee stadium & San Francisco giants stadium have smaller amounts of field & so the advantage goes to the fielder in situations where the ball stays in play & is in play in right field. Again, I'm not saying that he is not a good player. But, as Winfield for example was given credit for his great bat, he was known as a decent thrower, not a great one, when it was taken into consideration that he played at Yankee stadium ! Judge seems to have a strong arm but more likely than anything else, he seems to have a average or slightly above average arm with above average accuracy which in the stadium that has that short porch, is very helpful & can be deceiving to people who are ignorant to the vast diversity of the wonderful game that is baseball. And yes I'm not a Yankee fan
