This is basically the same construction we are using in Germany with the verb "gefallen". The verb "gefallen" gets conjugated according to the thing that someone likes. So we can say "du gefällst mir" ("mir" = dative of "ich" = I) to express that "I like you". Спасибо огромное. Это очень полезный урок! 😃
For those interested in the German language: "gefallen" isn't exactly equivalent to "like" (I'd say it's more superficial), but for the sake of simplicity I'll use it here: Ich gefalle mir = I like myself Du gefällst mir = I like you Er gefällt mir = I like him Wir gefallen mir = I like us/ourselves Ihr gefallt mir = I like you (pl) Sie gefallen mir = I like them
It may be irrelevant but, did you make a video about "нужен", "должен" or short adjectives? Sorry I couldn't find any. I wonder why "должен" adapts to the form with the subject, while "нужен" adapts to the form of the object? Or am i confused and they both adapts to the form with the object but there is a fallen subject in one of these just like "нравиться" ( -Оно- мне нравится.)
This word really means "to please" rather than "to like" surely? So that you are saying "you please me" which has more or less the same effect as "I like you".
Thanks for doing these lessons... I started learning this year... Am a A2.1 level already.

Excelente clase, me queda más claro como usar el imperfective y el perfective, era algo que me confundía antes.
