We compared airlines from the same flight alliance: Lufthansa & Swissair. They are both doing great job, but see this videos to see more!! #donotsettle

It's SWISS not Swissair

+donot settle (Wahyu and Kris) Not shady, they were created from the ashes of Swissair, but are a completely different company with a much more streamlined product. They technically have no affiliation with Swissair.

I think most of the people here have no clue what they are saying. Swissair was indeed grounded in 2001. Swiss Int. Air Lines was founded 2002 out of Crossair. They took over most of the Swissair fleet, their regulations etc. but it is not the same airline! And about Sabena: It isn't true that Swissair dragged them with them, but since Swissair owed them "only" 84 million USD this didn't help them getting through the troublesome year of 2001. In the airline industry 84million is nothing. Lufthansa bought SWISS in 2005.

Lufthansa owns Swiss and Austrian. On check-in screens Lufthansa will be written under Swiss. As to the question which is better? Air Swiss of course! Better aircraft, modern fleet, better hub, spacious cabin, better food, better punctuality and I find much more welcoming.
Lufthansas fleet is way more modern, which is normal, because they're a way bigger airline...
+Nico Th. No it's actually not more modern then the fleet of Swiss. Swiss bought brand new 777 and Cs 100 aswell as cs 200 which makes their fleet more modern than Lufthansas.

No they don't, because they don't need such big planes... which anyway wouldn't be money efficentt.
You can not compare them actually because Lufthansa is auch way bigger airline which is pretty old too. Swiss is a young developing airline so of course most of their planes are more modern or new then LH`s. But f.e. Swiss doesnt have any A320NEOS,747-4/-8, A350 and no A380. And Lufthansa has 2 very big Hubs with Munich and Frankfort. Swiss only has Zurich. Frankfort is way way bigger then Zurich and they transport more passengers then Zurich.
and There are more flights... But it seems very strange that their shops close at 18:00

Just a remark: SWISS is part of Lufthansa Group, it's not just the same alliance, it's the same company. ;-) This together with Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines. SWISS is seen as kind of the "premium division" of Lufthansa.

It actually is part of the same group! Lufthansa is biiiiiig. They also part of Brussels Airlines.

I flew both in May.
Lufthansa A330 DXB-FRA, on time
Lufthansa A321 FRA-TXL, running late because someone was blocking the gate
Swiss A320 TXL-ZRH - running 1hr late due to weather. They had to book me on a Emirates flight because I missed my connection.
Overall I can't comment much on Swiss for 1 flight.
Lufthansa's A330 was nice, looks like new cabin

Good Video! Some informations: They don't just belong to the same alliance, Lufthansa owns SWISS. And it's not called Swissair, Swissair grounded in 2001 and out of the ashes of Swissair they built the new Swiss International Airlines. Like your videos, you really do a great job! PS: I would fly SWISS as their food is better, they are on time than Lufthansa and the Crew is much friendlier.

I have had 1 delay on Lufthansa but that was a weather related delay of 90 minutes and with a two hour connection in Dusseldorf I really had to run. But the dispatcher was delaying the flight to wait for the passengers from my flight

The flight I had to take in Frankfurt once was also overbooked! seems to be a common issue? it was funny though bc they tried to convince the people to quickly book other vacations ^^

The new lounge is only for business or first class customers.
Any airline that gives out chocolate is A1 in my book! Sweet! But I am looking forward to flying Lufthansa later this year.
One of the best flight reviews movies I have seen. I would however reduce the music level a bit. Very original. BTW they say Valencia not Falencia ( if you speak German then you would write it Walencia).
I flew Swiss in late October and the onboard service was less than what I had expected.
Next time do a long haul comparison

I prefer Lufthansa, but often there no difference between Lufthansa, Swiss or Austrian, Lufthansa do great job with Swiss and Austrian so when I book Lufthansa flight I book flight with Lufthansa and Austrian or Swiss... I think Lufthansa is better than her subsidiaries, because they have old but really comfortable aircrafts, great food, on time departures and etc. Great video! :)

I fly both Swiss and Lufthansa short haul very often, it really is not a big difference, I personally prefer connecting in Zurich to Frankfurt airport, but on the other hand connecting times as short as 1h really arent a big hassle anywhere.

I always fly with swiss!! im 12yrs old i live in belgium so normally i would fly with brussels airlines (flew only 2 times on brussels airlines!!!) but i almost always fly with swiss most of my flights were Brussels-Zurich and sometimes Brussel-Zurich Zurich-Hong Kong (12hrs!!) but i just love swiss once instead of Malaga-Brussels i did Malaga-Zurich Zurich-Brussels because i love swiss i really wanted to fly with swiss!!

Hi donotsettle just wanted to let you know it is not Swiss Air it is Swiss international Airline. And if you think that is the same it is not. Because Swiss Air went bankrobt already a long time ago (2001) and Swiss International airline is the airline what opperates now. Just wanted to let every one know because a lot of people dont get the different.
