Czy nagrałbyś kiedyś odcinek o nagrywaniu ekstremalnego wokalu w domu? Jaki sprzęt będzie dobry? Zajmuje się od niedawna wokalem black metalowym i chciałbym nagrac swój wokal, liczę na pomoc, z góry dzięki:)
Do black metalu i old school deathu wystarczy Ci interfejs, np. audient id4 (tani i bardzo dobry) i mikrofon dynamiczny, np. klasyczny shure sm58 + pop filtr. Do tego oczywiście kabel do mikrofonu i statyw (ja np. dostałem statyw gratis do mikrofonu).
Jeszcze nie tak dawno korzystałem z podobnego zestawu. Tutaj jest jeden z blackowych albumów, do którego nagrałem wokal z takim sprzętem (Lyktgubbe):

hey! been watching your videos for a while and i don’t think i’ve seen you or anybody else cover a problem i’ve been having.
was curious if you have ever noticed problems with going to fry screams after doing false cord for a while. when i’m at practice and doing false cord lows it’s like my throat becomes dry or swollen idek and it makes a fry scream incredibly difficult to achieve, and if i can achieve them they don’t sound very good. if you have any tips or suggestions i would be very grateful for your time

Hello! Some of my students were in a similar situation and there were 2 major causes:
1. Using their true vocal folds while practicing false chord (it can be caused by lack of a proper support, using too high air pressure, using too much air, mistaking the compression with too intense tension in the larynx, tightening the jaw or root of the tongue, aiming for too high volume etc.),
2. Fatigue of the supporting muscles caused by practicing false chord and not being able to properly support the fry scream, and therefore tightening the throat or other body parts to compensate the lack of support from the core muscles.
It's hard to tell what exactly can cause the issue without being able to listen to your vocals.
