    They did a good job of translating how the character feels in the fighting game to this one. Hakumen is just as much of a menacing wall of Big Damage Numbers as in the original series

    Not sure if you know this but you can try out potentials before you pick them by pressing RT.

    Hakumen’s shield is counter that costs 50 mp. Pressing the button again spends 50 more mp, but counter-attacks anyway if nothing hit the shield.

    Super armor means you won't be staggered or knocked down when taking damage.
    You can have 5 elements. One for skill, attack, dodge, summon and legacy. Elements can be duplicated in other categories, i.e. fire attack and fire skill.
    Each of the above gets a single element and up to 5 upgrades. The final level has a prerequisite of a move from another element and is red. You can see the skill trees while in game.
    You typically want to shoot for the red abilities, so early on you check your skills and pick up complementary elements in different categories.

    Hakumen is a defensive monster. He's the same way in the main series as well. He's definitely on the tougher side of the roster for this game because of his speed. However, the biggest hurdle, in my opinion, is that his dash doesn't have I-frames initially. It's why I typically try and get the potential that gives his dash I-frames as fast as possible.
    Another useful potential is Hotaru, aka the jumping up kick, since it can act as a third jump. Very useful for certain bosses like the eyeball.
    Either way, this was a great run. Would love to see Ragna one next.

      He badly needs blink for a dash Potential. Lost on Susanoo because I constantly tried to dash through him and collided with him instead.

      @exploertm8738 He actually has a potential that gives him blink for a dash. I believe it's called Shiden. You still need the dash I-frame potential have I-frames on the blink dash though. If you're able to get triple dash in there too, then you get much better mobility as well since the triple dash gets added to the blink dash. Best part about Shiden, it doesn't cost MP.

      @exploertm8738 It's one of the most useful ones he has. Also, grabbing Hotaru is extremely good as well. Getting that rising kick can help extend combos as well as give you an extra jump that doubles as an attack. I'm pretty sure it can get I-frames as well. Or, at the very least, super armor.

    you can make this character a single button win condition. he's sick AF anyway though.
    get yanagi and level it fully with a triple dash and youll literally never have to do anything else again. yanagi is BUSTED
    his down attack combo is sick AF too because you can do stand combo and once the stomp happens, hold down to continue the down combo for extra hits and damage. character is a fun time

    As you said,they have too many moves,so its better to pick one skill and try to max that synergy through the potentials
    Coz if you don't really play fighting games much,you won't remember all the buttons if you choose different skills
    Even in this video,you choose quite a number of different potentials,but you still use that one move more than the others,so its a waste of potential

    I noticed a wide variability in the effectiveness of certain characters. So far for me tornado/spear girl the worst, meanwhile the blue/crest girl is absolutely broken.

      Mai is probably the hardest character to get going with. The best thing to try and get with her are her dash potentials Suzuran and Himeyuri. Get them both and your dash becomes an attack and can go in multiple directions. It can also be used 3 times in a row. The Thousand Spear potential and the Maple Blossom potential are also good for extending combos.

    The down y parry is the easy win button. Cycle down y and replenish it with 2 ys and the game is easy mode

    It's would be hard for him to get you the numbers for the game right now as it is because the ENTIRE team of ACT91 got laid off, so there is LITERALLY only 1 guy working to keep the game up and running and updated right now
