From a retired Green Beret, an instrument rated pilot, I thank you all in the "P 3" for ALL THE FLIGHTS, ALL THE LIVES YOU ALL SAVED....GOD BLESS AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND...
Truly wonderful to see the post-upgrade sonar/sensor operator stations. Software for the preceding iteration of these systems was my occupation from 1989-92. If memory serves, I have airsick hours on this airframe :)
-Flew on all of the P3s While with 492 sqn. B models through to all of the later update ":w" model aircraft except for A9-300 that had a ground oxygen fire before I joined the Squadron. A wonderful aircraft. I miss seeing it flying around Adelaide.
The best part of the food was the canned dry chicken noodle soup, the original RAMEN noodles. The rest of the prepared food depended on if you got it from the Air Force or not. They had good food the Navy has stale box lunches that we used the "retro" to send them to Russian trawlers. That is what you do on those long flights and the Russians were thankful. They were on station for many months not seeing anyone.

Didn't show us the galley, where the breakfasts were made. Most important part of the plane.

Yea, they didn't go to the right, they took a left. But they did show it briefly at 9:13
Oh how I a propeller powered plane 🤗👌
Nice piece of antiquated equipment 😂😂😂😂
Antiquated but it could do things a P-8 cannot do.....such as prevent a sub from launching a missile. IT DID in 68 and saved our world.
Spoken by someone with no clue
