Ohh Man!! Congrats to have finally found Sabaton!! One of the best bands EVER!!!! Always telling a story - Always history based ! According to Pär , the founder of the band, Its hard to put Sabaton into a genre ....Because its not really symphonic metal Neither is it Power Metal. So Pär simply choose to call it "History Metal" :-) Try their music video to "Defence of Moscow" or "Smoking Snakes" ....Forgot to say: Nightwish and Sabaton has very tight bands ....for ex. Floor Janssen , the singer of Nightwish is married to Hannes Van Dahl, the drummer in Sabaton....and Floor even sings the end solo in Sabatons latest hit "Christmas Truce" - Go listening - Its amazing!!!

Sabaton is a Swedish band. All their songs are based on real historical events. They also have a second UA-cam channel, Sabaton history, where they tell the story behind every song. I highly recommend it, you will learn a lot! A small tip is to always check their videos to the very end, you might otherwise miss something.
