What a beautiful place, I know Iceland could be expensive if it comes to fishing for salmon. How it works with trout fishing in rivers, lakes etc? Would love to try is some day. Probably would need a guide wich I think you would be the man for that😄
Hi Tomasz, you are right it is pretty expensive to fish for salmon here and also some of the trout rivers like the one in the video but you can find some cheap options like most of the lakes here in Iceland are pretty cheap to fish and also some rivers. You can also buy what we call the fishing card, that gives you the option of fishing around 30 lakes all over the country. All the best
So can you basicly fish there with this lake card or does there have to be special license ?
No you need a special license to fish there. The fishing card has other lakes and spots that you can fish.

Annars hef ég farið þarna a hverju ári síðustu 3-4 ár, algjör paradís, misjafnt hvað ég hef veitt mikið samt.
Já ég hef notað þessa aðferð í mörg ár, við vissar aðstæður virkar vel að kasta straumflugum upp og strippa til baka hraðar en straumurinn. Eitt allra fallegasta svæði í heimi!
