Look as a healthcare worker, this series perfectly shows what a hospital is and how complicated it is to be the director of a hospital, as well as to be part of the hospital, whether you are a surgeon, nurse, nursing assistant... Everything is represented in this series, in different but clear ways. And a clear message is that for health workers, patients come first, then money. That's the important thing, and Max reflects it very well. I love his role, everyone's role, really, but his specifically.
The chemistry was there from the beginning, when Max said if she comes back let's keep her ,so the song is perfect.

I've followed the series since the first chapter, and our sharpwin never got the deserved prominence on the show.
Season four for me was extremely disappointing.
despite being available, I haven't watched any chapters in full, I'm guided by the recaps and the few scenes posted.
I think the program is aimed more and more at the LGBT audience, I want to make it clear that I have nothing against it, but at the beginning of the series these themes weren't so focused.
I thought the scenes I saw of Ryan and Freema in the recaps of season four were very poor and didn't live up to my expectations.
I definitely think that NA creators were never up to writing and enjoying the immense chemistry that Sharpwin always had!
In previous seasons the chemistry was great. But in Season 4 something happenned, the chemistry is not there anymore. They are great actors, but the chemistry is gone. Their scenes dont look natural as before, they look more stage, they look tense. Like if they are working too hard to make it happen. I feel something is off with them.

perhaps among the show's producers, someone is too jealous of Freema, or Ryam to justify writing/scripting season four.
I also had a very bitter taste in my mouth.
You guys are absolutely right, season 4 is so disappointing. ☹️The writers don’t want Max and Helen to have the same chemistry they have 1-3 season. 😩😩
Hi at Batista Batista with regards to Sharpwin I can understand what you mean I feel it too BUT you must remember that part of the chemistry was the build up of these 2 characters. The longing, the wanting, the eye contact, the saying without words, it all got us caught up in their moments and feels! Now that they are actually together I think part of the miss for some and what has changed for them is all of the above, they are now like a normal couple and the fact that we are not seeing them all over themselves is a part of that. In fact we barley see them intimate and just little hugs or kisses. I would say after 3 seasons of them completely wanting each other silently and now having each other the dynamics certainly have changed. We see this all the time with characters but to say that fans can't see the change I don't believe is what's happening here. It's just that they love to ship Sharpwin and regardless of what the dynamics are now if you loved them form the beginning you will love them till the end. David Schulner did say he was taking the show in a different direction by letting us into the lives of each character and a lot of fans are having a hard time with it. Just my thoughts and I still ship Sharpwin LOL. Thanks for posting your thoughts it gave me a pause to think through this.

I partly agree with you! I've read other comments of yours and I always think they are common sense, although I don't agree with everything.
I found the fourth session marked by a great lack of creativity, mainly in writing, but also in acting.
After the three seasons, I didn't expect a normal couple so soon, as the disappointment began in the 4x1 chapter.
It wasn't just bad writing, it was disastrous!
In addition to superficial, cold, generic and emotionless scenes, I'll mention some facts that I read in posts from other fans and I also agree:
- Hellen regrets letting Max in?
- Hellen comment with friends about Max's particulars?
- Hellen get involved with ex-boyfriend?
- Hellen return to London immediately after Max declares himself?
These facts are not consistent with the expectations generated in previous seasons!
The fans deserved much better development for sharpwin in the fourth session, once they got together they never felt like a couple in love like they did before.
The writers in the fourth session simply closed the sharpwin box, and turned them into exactly a normal couple, or less.
It would only justify a normal couple if they went to London and left the program.
The chemistry is gone!
The writers removed shapwin from the show's focus as it's a medical drama, but I think the best has been lost.
Perhaps the creators will be able to make the show attractive again, but for me, the series will be marked by this mediocre fourth session.
