The pinnacle of 80s hair metal. Everything is so big, so bombastic, so dialed up to 11, but at the same time so clean and well arranged and in control. Bon Jovi nailed it.

I'm so surprised that that's what you heard there! Not mad or anything, just really surprised! John is the anti-typical rock star. He married his high school sweetheart in 1989 and they've been together for almost 36 years, and have 4 children. Jon is a big humanitarian in his home state of New Jersey. He's got 4 restaurants for those that are less-fortunate, and you can stop in and eat a meal and wipe tables or wash dishes to pay for it. He's also big into Habitat for Humanity, having built and renovated houses in his home town in Jersey. In short, he's a really good dude. Great reaction; love to see you guys getting in to a little '80s rock. It's always gotten a bad rep for the "glam" metal and long hair and crazy costumes, but underneath there was some really good rock music made during that era. Hope you continue to explore it.

And of course, if you like a song in your car or in your house on the headphones, how much better is it to be in a stadium with 10 or 20,000 other people vibing with you and all the energy that is involved in that! 💜🎵

I was 20 when this came out, but my brother was 7. I would go to pick him up at the bus stop in the afternoon, and the bus would pull up, blasting Slippery When Wet, and every elementary school kid singing at the tops of their lungs. It wasn't just teenaged girls that made this HUGE. It was also school busses in Connecticut...lol.

I'd gladly put this song up against any pop song from the last decade, this song will win every time.
Immaculate production, breaks, solid track, great harmonies, powerful lead vocals, incredible instrumentals, this song has everything you'll ever want in a track to storm the hit-parades.
This was part of our regular diet of pop music, there was variety but most of all, there was musicianship.
Explore some more from Bon Jovi, they have some great stuff waiting for you guys ;)
