I never played any soulsborne besides Bloodborne. Wich i btw love to bits. I did watch quite a few playtroughs of demon souls and all 3 dark souls and 1 of sekiro. Look and probably play amazing. Not the biggest fan of sekiro but thats personal taste. But FUUUUUCK elden ring makes me wanna get a ps5... but i don't wanna buy one now with all the scalping bs and super limited games on it

Martin takes forever to finish his works but when they do come out they are totally worth it. So i am not surprised that he finished his part on this game in time considering the ammount of work needed isn't the same.

You can see it even in ds3, there’s a ton in ds3 that’s straight up lifted and improved from ds2. It’s such a shame ds2 didn’t get the attention/development it deserved, but I do like seeing it be redeemed posthumously lol.

This boss is so fast and strong! Gotta dodge every attack perfectly to get that perfect counter opportunity, believe it!” (looking at you Sulyvahn, Nameless, Midir, and Gael)

The trailer it already have everything, they really show the complete game there, you have tons of the final bosses you encounter, many of the late zones and even the ending frenzied flame requisite scene. It still feels not real, like this is how a complete game should and has to be, hope this wake up the other developers and they start giving us again complete games for us to enjoy and get lost, instead of just barely finish games.

I didn't watch the trailer, going into these games as blind as possible is the best way. Their trailers always show all the bosses and such which takes away from the exploration and mystery imo. Best way to play these games is not knowing anything and discovering all by yourself. A From Software game on release is a special thing I don't want to ruin. Some of the graphics especially with meshes/textures don't look amazing for sure but it looks like they put that budget into a ton of other things so it will be well worth it. The enemy variety, environments, particles, animations etc look crazy.

Lots of textures look like they were made in 2014. That said, the game is still VISUALLY impressive despite having flawed graphics on a technical level because the animations, particle effects, and art design are amazing.

It seems that every previous game of From Software collided to form Elden Ring.
This showcase was like a 6 of 10 until this moment.
Went up to about a 7 lol. I'll certainly play it but it doesn't look mindblowing like Bloodborne or Sekiro by being so different from what we expect from them.
The world looks cool though. Seems like Dark Souls 1's interconnected levels wasn't a happy mistake.
