the best part about this line is unlike aqua line the dist b/w each metro station is way more

That line passes through old city areas which are densely populated. That many stations are required there.

I commute on balewadi-hinjawadi route daily and the average span completion between 2 pillars every week is about 5.
There were 70 such spans pending yesterday, as compared to 79 two weeks back.
By this logic, i can see that in about 14 weeks (3.5 months) - about june-july work on span erection should be completed.

That is great analysis.
Metro is not all about pillars there has to be viaduct, signalling systems, telecom systems, traction system, station infrastructure and lot more and finally CMRS Inspection.
Ajit pawar have given them deadline till 15th August 2024 for completion of pune University double decker
Metro officials also have confirmed they will complete the same till 15th August, lets see!

Make walkthroughs of every metro station on line 1 and 2
I have a question. For the wakad and balewadi metro stations, if people from other side of the highway want to go to these metro stations or if prople want to go from these metro stations to the other side of the highway, how should they cross it? Are there any plans for constructing walkover bridges? so that people can cross the highway and come to these metro stations or come back from these stations to the other side.

They have officially made public statements that they would start it it one go. The chief engineer Rinaz Pathan has said so multiple times.
But let's see as someone likes to visit Pune every now and then and inaugurate parts of same projects 😂
Mostly yes. I think only Balewadi has about 4 stations in less than 5km. Others are quite spaced.

Are there any plans for a metro line on Sinhagad road? The buses are always packed, so much so that it gets hot even in AC buses. The roads are always crowded and shared autos (tum-tum) drivers cause blockades at every intersection. A metro from nanded city to Swargate is highly necessary. Great video by the way. Thanks.

I have seen the place where the metro station for line 3 is built and to my dismay, it's far off from the main civil court station. It will be a task for commuters coming from the present Civil Court metro station and walk to the Metro 3 station. They should have integrated the station with the current Civil Court Metro station. As always in India no coordination between the different Metro building firms.
It's not that far..they will have a FOB which will reduce the distance

Eon IT park I have seen personally, one tower already 80% done, other 3 will also come soon. But WTC is not coming, it’s kept blank from last 4 years, builders are selling flats in its name but it’s not coming for sure
