Facts bro! You spoke all facts. I recently watched a video of a guy who opened his mobile detailing business. He only wanted to detail exotics and high-end cars. Only wanted to do ceramic coats, buff and polish, etc. After a few months, he made a follow-up video saying he has been dead on the water since the start. His prices scared away most of the customers (his only customers) that would actually take up a new detailer. He rejected any job that was under $200 and that caused him to make no connections, no repeat customers, no referrals, etc.
Great info Anthony! I've been detailing going on 3 years now and I'm already realizing what I now refer to as"reality detailing. Most of the time halfway through the detail people are already satisfied especially after you've vacuumed and washed.
Interesting. I'm noticing this too, often I think I over deliver on their expectations when what they see looks good enough halfway thru my process but as detailers it's hard for us to stop til it looks perfect to us. Yall know what I mean. We definitely see more than the clients do
10/10 love the vid. If you use a 5 gallon bucket instead of a grocery bag you won't have to fight the bag and you can empty it into a bigger trash can cutting down on the amount of grocery bags and plastic needed - for anyone concerned
@@AAProfessionalServices any time brother and if it wasn't for you and your channel I wouldn't have knew half of what I know now for my business. Stay blessed and keep doing your thing brother 🙏
It's crazy , iv done 1 polish in like the last 6months. And that's seeing 5 cars a week usually lol. People just don't want to pay for it. I had a guy but a brand new Silverado it has some swirls and slight marring would not even consider polishing it or coating it. Best part it wasn't a work or commuter truck it was his retirement gift to himself.
I have a customer that own a Rolls Royce , Defender, Matt Range Rover , 2 Cadillac Escalades I do the cars once a week every week and all they care about is a regular Wash only the RR gets a polish every couple of months . They just want clean cars
Yup I have a weekly client like that too, Bentley convertible, 2 new vettes, a lucid, tesla and lexus. He just wants em fresh n shiny always. Hes the only guy I work hourly for too, he asked cuz not all cars need the same clean. He said just do whatever is needed on each one n tell me when you're done. Works for me.
Hey good morning the car I've detailed yesterday the customer had seat covers and I was trying to clean dog hair off of them my drill brush keep getting tangled up so I stop clean them but she seen the inside the car but she was happy with the job I had already did so yes they just want their cars clean
The problem is that people is broke, they paying 1000$ a month for a vehicle and they cannot pay a detailer once a year 300-400$ to keep it nice forever. We love to spend and try to be the "rich" guy of the block, but they cannot afford someone to take care of their shit. I wouldn't never understand how people can live like this, I rather have cash on my bank and capitalize in opportunities.
I do mobile detailing as well, I just purchased a van and I was wondering around how much does it usually cost to become full self sufficient with power and water?
Mobile work is much harder, you are loosing a lot of luxuries like being in good shade, which has a lot of benefits for the job, but being inside you arent subjecting your body to the sun and heat.
hey thinking of starting my mobile detailing business in the state in nj, do you think its a good move to generate money?? im on the edge about doing it or not. if you can help thankss

I've experienced the same.

Good Video!
How long did it take you to finish that car? Was that a two hour job?
I’m thinking of getting into the business…
Maybe 3.5 hours
What’s the model of the steamer do you use? I’m starting my mobile detailing business soon.
Central Machinery from Harbor Freight

It’s hard to say. It all depends on what you want. Start googling
Mobile work is much harder, you are loosing a lot of luxuries like being in good shade, which has a lot of benefits for the job, but being inside you arent subjecting your body to the sun and heat.
Yep.
There are detailers who bring pop up canopy's so they can work in shade
Great info bro 💪🏾✊🏾 Whatever soap you are using is no joke. I know it’s your secret and hopefully you will be selling it soon 😂
I’m selling it now. Www.aaprofessionalservices.com
What brand and name is that exterior wash towel you are using? Does it do a good job at removing hard contaminants from the paint?
Are you referring to the gray mitt. That’s a clay mitt that a bought on Amazon.
🔥

hey thinking of starting my mobile detailing business in the state in nj, do you think its a good move to generate money?? im on the edge about doing it or not. if you can help thankss
Yes . It’s a great idea. It all depends on how bad you want it
It just makes me cringe when I see people take their car through a car wash. Just thinking to myself " Go ahead beat your car up!" Lol
Most of them run it through the car wash when it dirty. Then the car wash stop working for them; then thry call me
Me yesterday as I wanted to walk up to him so bad he has an old school Lincoln 😩🤣🔥
saludos amigo
Saludos!
Oh and she the customer say she was going to call me back
Awesome
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙌🏼🤝🎩 I detail all types of cars. I don’t care money is always good for business.
By the way, my steamer broke down. I am searching for a good steamer.
Right on
