I have a 2015 mkt and my left hid went out. I watched your video and removed the bumper, then I removed the headlights. Installed the new hid's and put it all back together. Thanks

HIDs are superior anyway! LEDs (aftermarket) are actually illegal in the US.
You mentioned something about programing the circuit for the inner parking light next to the grill around the 8 minute mark. My drivers side hasn't worked since I bought it used. I was told that was not a bulb but a LED not repairable.
its a pcb surface mount led board its not a normally serviceable part. but if your good with electronics you could fix it.
The 2017 is completely different than what you show. Bolted from under side of fender.

Thanks for these videos. If you had a hood latch failure (broken or fell off) do you think this process would expose the hood latch from below? I'm starting to think about drilling a hole in the hood....

The clear plastic part of the headlight assembly is already removed in your video how does this come apart? Is this silcone or and actual gasket from the factory?
its type of silicone but mine was already loosing grip also a little bit of heat gun use will help loosen it.
Thank you I was successful in getting them apart they are put together originally with urethane
@@YJ4TY yes the same as they use on windshields. the urethane shrinks and dries out causing them to start to leak and compart,
What did you have to do to out the leds in? What did you do with the hid module or what ever
The Led's linked in the description use the HID power modules to power them!
Where did u get them led headlights at they are nice bright as well

Aftermarket LEDs are illegal and not designed for projector headlight assemblies. 99% of the time the beam pattern will blind other drivers.
I have 200k mi on mine and I want to keep it forever I was really hoping to do this without taking the bumper off
you must remove bumper (cover) but its very easy!

The fog light bulbs? Either thru the inner fender well by removing the front lower screws or remove the whole bumper either way there is some work involved.

Wow awesome I was hoping someone would catch that! You sir are awesome. I noticed it when I was editing the video and was like darn I guess the bumper is coming back off lol
Update Got around to Fixing this no high beam and found the small plug for the high beam motor to have come unplugged all works and easy fix!
what a pain in the ass to have to remove the bumper cover to change a light bulb.,
