Ohh bet that Georgian bakery has some great breads. Hopefully khachapuri! Green baklava was tasty! We love it in all forms when done right and not overly sweet
Hahaha it is a crazy spelling! Have seen it spelled a few different ways actually. The second spot it was gosh gija. First spot goshtgizhda. Really really good!
So interesting, right?? This Uzbek-Korean restaurant in Brooklyn is really good. Soup was nice and warming and the manti excellent with that dill. Catch ya later! 🍷
We've never actually had any food from Uzbekistan so it was quite interesting to see all these new dishes. It all looks so delicious and perfect for the cold weather we are in right now. We really like offal so you've definitely piqued your curiosity with that sweetbread kebab!
Rudy Visuals It is so perfect for the cold - very hearty and warming. You should definitely try it when you get the chance. We love their kebabs - simple but perfectly cooked

Pumpkin samsa was awesome! Loved the sweet filling that wasn’t too sweet. Owner was really cool and chatted with us for almost an hour! Last spot has the nicest decor and excellent good. Shurpa, Korean veggies and manti were all tasty. We got skewers here too, but didn’t film since we covered plenty at the first spot. Skewers are a MUST at Uzbek spots!
The "Samsa" really reminds us of the pork bun sold at Raohe Market in Taipei, the way they cooked inside of that stone wall and also there's onions and black pepper too! could imagine the taste..delicious!
Thank you for putting the foos you eat in the description. Really helps when I have to go back to determine what to eat. Greg needs to come with a “Food and Footprints Sweater line.” I associate those sweaters to Greg. I need one of those open ovens at our house.
We always want people to know what we ordered, how to spell it and the address to try each spot. Always makes us happy to see people check out places we highlight in videos

Louise Morse Wow that means a lot - thank you! Always like hearing from Queens locals and am always nostalgic about growing up here as NYC changed over the years. Rego Park is a cool neighborhood - definitely underrated
You guys should definitely try it! Rego Park is the place to go, although there are some great spots in Brooklyn too. There are some similarities from countries along the Silk Road route

It is really tasty stuff! Love the bold spices like cumin and dill. They do an incredible job on the skewers without needing much spice. After eating spiders, balls should be easy for you. I love kabobs. Raw onion is one of my favorites. I use to love liver just need to it more again (with 🍚). Lamb meat kabobs sound so good. Oh man, didn’t know they served lamb testicles. Baklava is one of the best deserts ever.
That simple raw onion is a nice pairing for the kebabs. Haha did you get flashbacks to that turkey video? 😂 Couldn’t agree more about baklava - we love it!
Grilled meats and meat in pastry? Yes, please! And I absolutely love sweetbreads. My mother used to coat them in breadcrumbs and fry them in the pan. In fact, the only thing in this video that I would not touch was the green baklava. Sadly, I am deathly allergic to pistachios.
Goodi2shooz Both are great at Cheburechnaya! Sweetbreads are great! Glad you love them too and have memories of eating them. Shame about the pistachio allergy!
2 minutes into watching thise video, very intrigued with all the names of the food. Have to turn on the CC to see how it’s written hahaa Greg, you really know a lot about food around the world. 😁👍🏻
One day two vegetarians from USA came to Uzbekistan and asked me to eat somewhere. I invited them to the restaurant. I didn't know that they are vegetarians before going to the restaurant. When we were at the moment of booking something to eat they asked dishes or salads without meet, unfortunly they had to eat bread with tea 😂😂😂. Because there were nothing without meet even salads

Hi guys I’ve never tried Uzbeki food before but I’ve recently been watching food and travel shows like trevor’s UA-cam called the food ranger, Mark Weins and davidsbernhere and they recently went to Uzbekistan. The good looks wonderful especially the breads and the Plov 😍😍
You guys make us want to make more food videos. Mmmm. We still have the footage from our tour! We never finished other stuff we wanted to film in Queens 👎🏾 to add to the footage. But we're working on it for 2020. 😉
@@FoodandFootprints That's prob better it was the mic, oh man our sony mic jack gave us so much grief! U prob may have noticed on our japan vid audio isn't as good as it could be becuase of it. Not sure if your software to edit can do this, but the one we use can make audio from one side onto both sides. Hope that could help you guys =)
Hangry By Nature Remember hearing some hissing at times in your videos and thought of our predicament. Feel your pain on those audio issues, dating back to when we had the G7X with no separate mic

Great Uzbek food tour video guys, makes us want to try all the delicious food you had in this video 🤤
Thanks a lot, guys! That Korean influence is really interesting too. Wonder if you guys have any Uzbek or Central Asian restaurants in Melbourne
wow BYOB seems like a really bad idea for a restaurant but love the atmosphere and the vibe there
Haha - we actively seek out BYOB spots and many we know of are always busy. The vibe and atmosphere are awesome
And you thought sydney has diverse food culture - you dont even need to go outside of nyc city - insane!
Nick and Helmi We are really spoiled here in NYC with all of the diversity
Dill's the deal!
What’s the dill?? One of the best herbs in the world
oh! lamb testicles? @Santos Chronicles might be around!
Thought of him!
Yeah a bunch of them have been recently! It is a really tasty cuisine - hearty with nice spices like cumin
Yeah. Asia in NYC!
Ema Vane Central Asia is a fascinating area of the world! We really wanna visit
People seek happiness and salvation with religion but I prefer meat and pastry
Well said! Couldn’t agree more
Green baklava!
Tasty stuff! We are big fans of pistachio baklava
You guys make us want to make more food videos. Mmmm. We still have the footage from our tour! We never finished other stuff we wanted to film in Queens 👎🏾 to add to the footage. But we're working on it for 2020. 😉
Oh yeah! Hope you guys get to film some more in Queens for that video. Enjoy your NYC videos!
I recommend you to visit Uzbekistan guys!!
We would love to! Definitely on our list
I don't know much of uzbek food... This is gonna be interesting to watch
It is an interesting cuisine! Glad to share it with you
I swear I need to remind myself not to watch when I'm hungry because OH MY GOD!!! I want that green Baklava, I love pistachio!
Haha always the case with our videos 😂. We really enjoyed the baklava. Thanks for watching, guys!
U wouldn't happen to have sony camera? The audio is coming through just on the right side which we had a problem with our sony camera.
Hangry By Nature It is an issue with our Rode Mic. The main cable was giving us hissing issues too often, so we changed up cables
*My stomach is super jealous right now!*
Can’t blame you there - all of these dishes were delicious!
LOL don't stab the camera!! I love me some skewered meat! I think liver is okay but you are really changing my mind on it!
Pogiboy Productions Hahaha. Much love for skewered meat. This liver will convert you!
