- Microsoft Bike Club's intrepid members head out into the Wild Welsh Weather with the fantastic Triumph Adventure Experience. Our group set out on the Three Day Gravel Tour - an instructor led adventure, taking in some of the best trails in the country and an impressive variety of weather conditions, from stormy, to bright sunshine.
We learnt a lot about techniques for overcoming various terrain and obstacles - often by learning from failure. It was a tremendously good laugh and an extremely well organised event with latest bikes, riding kit, accommodation, food and more than a few drinks provided.

Looks like the usual Welsh conditions didn't disappoint ! How did the Tiger 1200 compare to the scramblers we took out on the last Triumph gig ?
Personally, the 1200 was one of the best bikes I've ridden. Very user friendly and just seemed to fit me well. Rob A took a Scrambler out, so they're definitely just as capable, but I wager I was aching less at the end. 😅 The grunt of 150 bhp and a whole bunch of torque was great on the road and it was surprising how docile it was, offroad. The weather was as expected! ⛈️
@@BobsBikingAdventures Mind you, even if I could afford one - I don't have the cojones to take my own £19k bike off-roading 😅
@@justanothermotorcyclist haha fair point! Though the protection they had was impressive. Saw lots of bikes get dropped and even drowned, without damage (except to engine bars). Though one person ghosted their bike into a tree, early doors, and wisely decided to call it quits and go back and do some more training before taking on a tour. The whole beak and headlight was smashed off - but it still ran and rode straight!
