Happy Halloween brother. People think I am being considerate taking a cart from the parking lot into the store. Truth is many times I am using it as a walker when my back is not doing well. So far the last two weeks the pain has eased a lot. I am grateful for any low pain days at this point. :)
I have had gout more times than I care to think about, people don't understand how excruciating the pain can be even just putting on socks or shoes. I take either colchicine or indomethacin and it knocks out really fast. Be extremely careful about bumping your feet as it can trigger an attack and when I go back to a pair of shoes I have not worn for a long time I usually have a touch of it starting and take some pills right always . Take it easy and feel better.

I know the feeling of walking weird and then your other muscles get messed up for compensating. Gout is awful. Hope you are feeling better.
