A yo-yo made out of lace is brilliant! Thanks for the inspiration!

Lovely video 😊 I’m from the U.K, and not sure if many people know that they’re called Suffolk puffs because they originated in Suffolk here in the U.K. they were first documented in the beginning of the 1600’s but were definitely being made long before that. They used to be stuffed with Suffolk wool to make them warm for a blanket/quilt.

@@PeaceOMindArt ..I hope my mini history lesson didn’t one across as patronising, I just thought it was interesting 🤗

the scrappy quilt is my favorite and yo-yo's are definitely my 2nd favorite. I'm making one in shades of yellow. and I've made a table runner too

I love scrappy quilts too. I have been saving scraps for years to make a charm quilt (where every piece in the quilt is different). Its fun to look at scraps and remember when you used the fabric! Thanks for watching, Darlene

This was a wonderful tutorial! I'm been trying to make several yo-yos for decorations and quilts. So relaxing. And I think they are beautiful with so many different fabric colors. Am going to make some from lace also. Hadn't seen lace ones before. So pretty. New subbie. Thank you so much. ❤

Thank you for sharing this with us Chris!! I found an antique yo-yo quilt last week in Montana. I need to wash it and was going to cut it to use them in my journals. But it's so pretty, I'm not sure I can!! 💜
