Hi sis watching your vlog Wow that's a good Tutorial BIG thumbs up for you and support your channel 👍 That's my favourite ❤️ DIY projects when I'm a young girl my mother teach me to see it like that and I created a table centerpiece
Wonderful tutorial Merritt ! I’m going to grab all my Mom’s sewing scraps out and start making yo yo’s with them. Love the Christmas tree wall hanging you’ve made. I’m finally winding down from the wedding; babysitting my Granddog while the kids are on their honeymoon. He’s so funny and curious when I pull out my cross-stitch to see what I’m doing. It’s hard to stitch with a big black lab hanging over you! Have a blessed week ~ Anne
Hi, Anne, Thank you so much! I'm glad I have inspired you to make Yo-Yos. Thank you for the Christmas tree wall hanging love - need to finish that one this year. Hope the wedding went well - great weather last weekend. Give your Granddad and other pups some love pats from me. Happy Stitching!
I have some of those Clover makers in my sewing room, but had forgotten about them. Thanks for the tutorial because it had been a while since I used them. They really make it easy, and make a prettier more uniform yo-yo.
@@Merrcraw15 This is Betty and Floyd Jines’ daughter. Your dad mentioned the channel in his Christmas letter. 😊 The yo-yo is the first I watched because I tried it before and didn’t have much look. I did make a yo-yo quilt by hand for a dollhouse. Do you have recommendations on attaching them?
@@darlajines8482 Hi, Darla, I kid you not, as I was typing my reply to you this morning, I thought of you, because you are the only Darla I know - how fun that it is actually you! Regarding the question about attaching them...If you are making a coverlet with them, you can attach them with a small stitch, using a neutral thread color. I would try to make my stitch from the back, catching the edge of the yo-yo in the fold. Hope that helps. Happy Stitching!
Wonderful demonstration! Have all the yo yo makers! Got to get making some! Love you beautiful curtain! Thanks so much! Love to see more things made with yo yo! Christmas decorations maybe, Thanks !
I have been binge watching your videos from the beginning & thoroughly enjoying seeing all your beautiful projects. Cannot wait to see you make the Yo Yo Rows quilt. Love Yo Yo's just ordered my tool today. I am too excited !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! would love to make the quilt will you put the pattern with instructions on your you tube
Hello, Thank you so much for watching my Yo-Yo Tutorial. Yo-Yo's are so much fun to make with the Clover makers. Regarding the Yo-Yo quilt, if you are referring to the quilt from American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine June 2011, I cannot post that pattern on my channel, as it is not my pattern. The pattern can be purchased at the following link: www.apqshop.com/Yo-Yo-Rows-p/qgr-00089.htm However, if you are referring to a different quilt project I showed, describe which one and I will see what I can do. Happy Stitching and Yo-Yo making!
EXCELLENT!! EXplanation😊 Thank you! I learned something new and that is to cut a charm sq size sq do you only need to cut the protruding corners. What size was that charm square, anyway?😊

Like the projects in Annie's time friendly quilts. Super cute. I have the leisure arts books, and I should check them out.
