this is what is called a first alarm assignment when fire is reported this I the typical response that they have and trust me this is nothing special for reports of fire the reasoning is that they typically don't know what the fire is ad if it will change when they show up for instance its better to have to much units/apparatus than too little the fire was reported as stove fire but what happens if they send a small response and they show up and the fire is much bigger than reported that is why he have a big initial response

PopsAndAlly This is a standard response. Though I usually see bigger responses from SDFD. So this one was on the lower end.
