I realize this is a few years ago now but! I'm a sad old git living over in Tennessee, and I use Nisha's guide for rice, perfectly done every time! Then I hop around the kitchen like a complete wally! Thank you Nisha! X
Nisha I must THANK u for this video. Watched it last night then attempted it today. Verdict- i won at rice, finally at age 35 & all thanks to you. I do Mexican & pilau but this basic basmati always defeated me, but no more. Went beautifully with my sabji & roti. Love u & your down to earth videos. 👏🏽✌🏽🙌🏽
As a recently diagnosed diabetic, I've been advised to cut down on rice generally and when I indulge my passion for the worlds favourite carb, to limit myself whole/minimally processed rice. I'm guessing the gist of your perfect white rice method would be the same for brown rice, but once pitting should I leave the rice to for longer than 10 -15 and would you recommend I bring the wild rice to the point of pitting on a lower, more gentle heat, then you would employ with the white. Thanks. And, I love the food at your Bold street gaff, always try to pop in when I return to Liverpool from my Cornish hermitage. While COVID19 has set us all back, I hope as the lockdown eases your various ventures bounce right back. Keep on keeping on :)
I always spoil my rice and I now know why 😣 I always stir it wen it starts so boil. I won’t be doing that again and hopefully it’ll cook like yours 😚 thanks hun I love following your recipes 🥰
@@fcukwork didn’t know it was a laughing matter? Men like you wernt raised right by their mothers and are the reason why so many women today have so much problems
good point. But nah, it's OK.. if you like the sensation you get when imagining you were eating rice off a door mat, that is ;) However, this technique works really well (with and without tied hair)

Once you've put the rice and water together, you've got to trust them to get along with each other.

This video is underrated big time😊
More videos again, please :)
Do you need to wash your rice until water is clear? Basmati I presume;)
Did you put salt in the water? I tend to rinse my rice before cooking...do you not advise this? Thanks
I rinsed then followed as Nisha cooked it. Was all good 👌🏽
You're gorgeous 😍
stop commenting on her videos you’re creepy
