Just found this today 18/12/23. Cannot believe its 12 years old. Best cooking video I have ever seen. No silly music or zooming in and out, just excellent, practical teaching, thoroughly explaining not just the how's but also the why's. Loved the no nonsense approach to curries. Just googled Nisha and found she has done a lot more videos so will be watching them.
Definitely the best video I’ve seen regarding cooking curries. No ego trips, no swearing ,no trying to be funny. And this lady makes my curries taste beautiful.
I love how your videos are more about giving people the knowledge to create their own curries rather than just providing a recipe for people to follow blindly. I've made several different curries based on this video and all of them have been lovely.
Me too. Came out amazing and even better the second and third time. My wife loves it and is amazed I can make such great tastes. Thanks Nisha. A wealth of information presented very clearly. We are eating so much better now than the usual trashy English carb, fat and sugar diet.
I feel as if i learned so much about spices and Indian food in the first 3 minutes versus the hours i spent watching Indian food recipes. Stunning. Thank you Nisha!
Not just a great cook, Nisha is also A natural teacher, a great presenter and a world-class communicator. Aren't we lucky to have access to her artistry!
This was my second attempt at one of your recipes and ……to my amazement ….. it tasted sensational. I’m almost at a point where I might invite some friends over to eat one of my meals - I never thought that was ever going to be a possibility. Thank you Nisha 👍
Thanks, this is the most helpful video/recipe that I have found (most everything else wanted me to start out with spices that I don't have). The explainations (some in the comments section) of how we can adjust it to our tastes has helped me out.
Love your video. The detail explanation on the effects of the condiments and a dual dish out of one so exciting to me. Love watching you. Keep being Amazing.
There are tons of curry videos out there, and they tell you how to cook, and that’s fine, but yours is one of the few ones that tell you the ins and out, and pitfalls. Great narration. Thanks for sharing.
Wow thank you so much for this recipe. It’s so good how you explain things, you’ve really helped me understand the knowledge behind the recipe. So interesting 💗
You are an incredible communicator! I've only just found you and watching your video I feel I can have the confidence to try cooking a curry dish rather than buying packet stuff! Thank you so much for being so articulate, stunning female who knows her foods! Good Luck in everything your do!
As usual, excellent to have a better understanding of what makes the sensational curry tastes... i have been amazed on how well your recipes turn out in my kitchen. Gives the other half a rest at weekends as well.. many thanks Nisha
Oh and I made enough so I could try it on day number 2 or 3 lol, keep up the good work , you're brilliant. I've suggested that my daughter watches you :)
Great video, I love how you thoroughly explain what's happening in the pan, the chemistry with the flavours and the steps in which to add your ingredient, more please 👏
@@nishakatona hi my name is chetan from England I really enjoyed watching your video wow your chicken 🐔 dishes look 👀 lovely and delicious 😋 it seems very simple I have never made a curry before I will certainly try it out I am gay nice to meet you
I'm so glad I happened upon this video of yours. It's immediately obvious that you are a master of your craft. You remind me, in a way, of Chef Jean Pierre in the way you not only show us what to do, but explain how and why.
Thanks especially for the basics (I really need them) and the knowledge of how to build on them (I used to be an instructor and notice that you got the skills) - well done
You are so awesome! I could tell your background came from something badass - and sure enough your website says you were in law for 20 years! So detailed and articulate at explaining everything. I really love your style and hope you put out new videos soon!
First time I've seen one of your videos and I really liked it. It was clear, informative and well presented. Without (hopefully) being patronising can I say a 'very well done'. Thank you for going to the effort of making it.
WOW, holy crackerjack. I must say you are the prettiest cook I've seen here on YT and lady, you have a fantastic recipe and yes it tastes absolutely beautiful, unlike so many other recipes on here that turn out to be a disaster despite meticulously following the 'instructions'. If you want to take a break from cooking, I thoroughly recommend 'Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons' to dine.
I love this video, love the way you speak, you look, you're amazing. I use your video in my English classes cause you speak so beautifully. Cheers from Hungary, Mrs Soldier:)
Wow! Thank you very much for making this lovely video. I am totally amazed by your fantastic English as well as by your love to Indian cuisine and food. I am a vegetarian so I probably won't make this particular food but it was so entertaining to just watch you preparing Indian curry. ( I will use it for educational reasons- i.e. teaching about Indian cuisine)Greetings from Hungary.
Wow you really helped me, I just made the perfect (for me) chicken curry and feeling very empowered now. I'd been going wrong by not letting the spices cook in the oil properly and not adding ginger. Delighted thank you.
Coriander is heat stable. I remember 40 years ago and the Mauritian lad doing me a lovely beef curry. It took ages and that coriander was in the dish for over an hour and it tasted absolutely beautiful.
You made it so simple and not adding so many spices. I will make it weekend as you have prepared and hope will be mouth watering. Thank you immensely for sharing with us. Love you guy

@@trevormarylloyd4593 Well, you can blindly follow an instruction to walk off a cliff, rather than think about the wisdom of doing so.
