BROOOO I would kill to have hair like this dude! My hair is so super straight like asian one and I have a lot of hair, but it's really soft at the same time. A bunch of people are always like "noo why are you complaining I really want to have straight hair like yours". It's so funny actually that we always want what we don't have 😄
Curly hair can be a curse
My hair is super straight too. An easy fix is to go for a perm, specifically Korean perm. It does wonders for my hair to get that natural wave.
i feel you man. i have completely straight hair and thats one of the few things i hate about myself. you cant style them, you have to use a ton of products to make them stick and you cant change anything because its all because of genetics...
@mati4604 I have had perm done from time to time. It's great for straight hair to add volume and curls. And it will save you tons of time styling your hair in the morning. With perm, make sure you go to a reputable hair stylist. It will make a huge difference.

Great cut! As always really. Love watching Dan’s work. Have a slight request. I would like to see more of how Dan takes his sections. That part is largely edited out in the videos. Im assuming he splits the sections in half to use as a guide for the next section and if so does he direct it in middle of the new section area or in the middle where the new section and where guide is coming from? Probably over thinking this, hope that makes sense. I’m always a bit unsure on that part. Im a barber and would like to cut with more confidence with palm to palm.
There are a lot of other palm to palm videos on their channel showing the sectioning pattern and where the guide comes from.

I just watched the other video from a year or so ago with this client. I actually like the first haircut better where the back and sides were short. The front had a side part and looked good. He has incredibly curly hair and a lot of it. But he wanted to keep it long in the back. But Dan gave him good advice on how to style it. He is happy with the cut, and that's all that matters. I don't care for the mustache. I would say shave it off.
The mustache was the first thing I saw. It should be a compliment to, not the main look.

Nice cut, thinking about that moisturizer myself since also quite curly hair when getting longer, but don't think people would actually dry their hair themselves with a diffuser (I just let it dry by itself). Just too much work. The cut really suits him! Too bad he seems to be a bit balding on top though.
Honestly everyones scalp under that intense fluorescent lighting is gonna be extremely highlighted. He still has got alot of hair to work with, maybe he just needs to start a routine scalp oil treatment to strengthen the roots a bit more. Other than that, great haircut and style!

Dans hair grew was also something I noticed. You have a less fussy client now that he knows you. He looks like a baseball player. Or a math teacher now.
Even if I moisture and put oil 1, 2, 3 times a day my hair (similar to this one) stays extremely dry. I don’t use dryer, I use soft towel, don’t touch it much and still. Small wind blows and I become an absolute mess.
What could I be doing wrong? Is it moisture and oil? Or something else. Help 🥹

OMG, Fussy Guy is back. Everyone loves a good villain. Embrace it. I mean... the guy has a mustache. It's my own uneducated opinion that at 15:40, Fussy Guy's hair looks best with the wet look. No hairdryer should get close to his hair.

To finish his transformation I would get new glasses or contacts. Something more contemporary with some angular shape. His face is round so the round lenses are too soft looking. The color is not great for him either.

Is it possible to get such a hairstyle on straight, soft hair? my whole life my hair has been a big complex for me, sometimes I want to cry when I try everything and nothing works. I found a hairstyle that I fell in love with, but I don't know if it's worth growing my hair out :(
Just go ahead and grow your hair out, that’s the only way you’ll ever know, if it doesn’t work out just try again. Maybe you could even get a body wave, (perm) to help out. Good luck. 😊

Why do you pick on him? All your clients spend 15 minutes discussing ideas, sharing pictures, exchanging thoughts with you. This guys so easy going and I saw him in the first video also, never would have guessed you'd single him out like you have. He's a normal guy getting his hair cut.
