Very nice cut! It flatters his face and works well with the lovely texture of his hair. After the cut he rather resembles Keanu Reeves. Your tutorials are informative and fun to watch, you are a good teacher.
This haircut really brings out his cheekbones, and he can always reassess by letting it grow out. Most men have their hair cut this short for easier maintenance or they need to present themselves more professionally to get that desired job. I think Dave does a great job with men’s hairdos.

I think he's in shock but it does look better after the cut. He lost a lot of length and his hair is quite fine so it must seem drastic at first but he is a very handsome guy and now his face is the focal point.

I started in this business of hair back in !976. Retired 2 yrs. ago. I could just cry and scream now watching all these great hair tutorials because I was quite a good stylist. These vids would have made me Great! I went to classes often enough but they were expensive and sometimes I had to travel. This would have opened up worlds for me. I got to the party a little late but I had quite the career anyway. I guess we all look back on things and wish we had done better . Thank you very much for your time and talent.

That man had beautiful curls. I can't believe he could'nt come up with a cut leaving his curls in.... Curls are beautiful and give so much personality!! I'm lucky to have beautiful curly hair and would never put my hair straight. Curl.power!!!
Fine line between perceiving your clients concept and ability and creativity. You learn to give the client what they want with your expertise and detail...hard industry to train clients to let you do what YOU want as to give them the real thing they didn't realize they wanted.... it's called suitability and he is very talented. Your learning!

I think he was having seconds thoughts about cutting all that hair off, but that cut really suits him and makes him look more handsome dare I say? Usually I hate to see so much hair go but he had the model vibes afterwards imo at least. Amazing skill as per usual by Dan the man!
Any time you’re cutting away a lot of length, you should cut little by little in order to become accustomed to the shorter length. Time and time (especially with women), people will cut their hair super short and cry.
Dan's eyes lit up when he said short back and sides...skin fade. It definitely is one of the most satisfying things to do.
One of our favourite things. Dan is always meeting the person for the first time when they sit in the chair. He has no idea what they're going to do! haha

I have to agree Masterfully done but I hate the skin fade. I think this client would have looked a little better with more length overall. However, the style does fit his head shape.
“White walls” has always been a terrible thing to the boys/men in my circle of things. Anything but “white walls”!
The back just looks awful to me. What's the point of shaving it off so high up the head? It's incredibly unflattering. Luckily, this man has a lovely Keanu Reeves sort of face and could probably carry off almost any sort of style. Anyway, as long as he's happy with it, I guess.

Ben really looks like the late Australian actor Heath Ledger with his hair long and short after the trim. Uncanny resemblance, but Heath, the great actor passed in 2008, at age 28, when I was only 8 yr old. Now, as a young woman, I see Heath’s films again and realize how hot he looked and I see Ben in the same way. Heath was a physically fit man, with decent eyes…like you can depend on him. I'm American and I do know what Crufts is but I didn't understand your pronunciation until you said dog competition. You did a great job of doing what your wanted and changing it a little to suit his hair and face shape. I imagine with the unusual hot weather in the UK a lot of men are getting their hair cut.

Not trying to be rude, but all of the videos I’ve seen on this channel have a white balance issue. The image is too warm and appears yellow. Not sure what program you use to edit, but most have a white balance/color temperature slider. You should make the white balance cooler when the image appears so warm. ✌️
Nothing rude about constructive criticism. Your right I've always noticed that aswell. It's not a major inconvenience but it's something easily fixable and they should do it.
I actually quite like the warm tone. To each his own, I suppose.
As someone who suffers from Migraines I appreciate the warmer tone too. Bright white would make it harder for me to watch.
