I watched tastosis when I was in college around 10 years ago. The fact that they are still a think brings me great joy. I totally feel there will be a big sad when they finish it.
Imagine they would stay with sc2 for their entire life and we would have 60 years old Tastosis casting some games :D It would be even better than now :D

It's not tactical pause though. If you look at the afreecatv stream his screen legit froze. Better get that fixed right there instead of having it happen again in game 5
It's more that even the smallest of issues is cause for a pause, this is a professional game at the highest level, ANY level of performance issues must be fixed.

1:10:52 Terrans build all of their structures and units, so they have to be good at using tools for repairing/maintenance. Protoss just warps everything in from some other location so the units on site have no repair skills, even though they do in fact have thumbs.
For those hating on the player who paused - that player's screen was literally frozen for 3 seconds and there is a first person view video as evidence. This is professional gaming, any technical problem should be reported to referees - that’s why he paused the game. Stop being no-brain whining babies.

Got dropped multiple times in his base and did nothing to defend against it. Plus, the very worst offense: Templar = You Get Ghosts.... Not a SINGLE Ghost for Inno in G5. Deserved to lose.

Maru does get ghosts consistently as soon as he sees the potential of Storm because it's a hard counter.. not getting emp against protoss is shooting yourself in the foot. Wipes out 100 shields as well as energy.. what else does that much damage that easily to a protoss army? A nuke.. which you can also use with ghosts. Maru and TY are the top Terrans, and Ghosts are a core feature of their TvP, because without them you cant go toe to toe with a protoss HT based army with 3M.

Innovation played awfully in G5. No base defense against runby, move commanding liberators into stalker patrols, idling half his army in strategically useless positions. 2/2 upgrades nowhere to be seen.

Yup. He got cocky and tossed too many units into the storm, while also failing to defend the third. It's a strategy game..... Decisions are just as important as mechanics.

So they do monitor the players to avoid abusing pause and they even showed it to inno while pausing. I'm a big fan of innovation and wanted to win, but not trap fault if his PC is lagging. Blame the GSL tech support.

@Tastosis How do you feel about placing cameras viewing the player's screen and keyboard, for error verification.
There's a live FPV stream of each player and they literally showed that to confirm that the PC lagged.
