I really appreciate that unlike other more popular games, the pros in Brood War are mature adults and simply in it for the love of the game. you can see it in their sportsmanship and humility. never too old to enjoy a fun competitive match!

It's great seeing all the players' personalities in back-and-forth conversation, because we don't get a chance to see that before or after matches, and during interviews they aren't nearly as fun as they are during these group nominations. Best parts were when Speed showed confidence, TY roasted Rain, Sea acted as showman. So much better with captions than direct translation where you can hear players speech and emotions. (although previous seasons translator did an amazing job).

Yep, very strange. I was surprised that aspect wasn't pointed out by anyone, not even TY. Usually the players show some desire to avoid too many mirror matchups, for the audience's sake.

We may not have had shuttle to spice up group selection. But Sea was a more than suitable figure to entertain the masses during the group selection. The soulkey chaos factor was also excellent.
This group nomination was so funny. I think Stork has a really good group to ADV to round of 8 even tho Light is there. Also, think Light finally has an easy group for himself. Can't wait to see round of 16 and the upsets and seeing Rain install all his games again LMAO
