something that I learned and was very useful (I didn't know about that) is when we talk about the verb To be in the second conditional (past tense), we can use "were" for all persons. So: "If I were a millionaire, I could travel the world"; "If she were here, she would help us". Or the famous Beyonce song: If I were a boy, I would turn off my phone.

This is also called the "past subjunctive", there is also the "present subjunctive", which is built with the *bare form* of the verb (i.e., with no 's' in the 3rd singular form).
Example:
- It is highly desirable that he *BE* here on time for the meeting.
The relative pronoun 'that', which introduces a subordinate clause, usually tells us about the subjunctive structure.
Subjunctive is to express wishes, expectations, or talk about a hypothetical situation (as you say).

We have that is Spanish, it's called 'subjunctive'. Indeed, English also has the subjunctive mood (it's a _mood_, not a tense), which is formed with these structures.

I think you were wrong on referring to the fist conditional by saying the structure:if present simple tense,it would v.base form.i don't think that is correct because "would"should be will,can,may,or might since would is used in the second and third one.Let me know if I am wrong or you are.
