I am 38 years old now, and just realized, that I listen to KoRn since 25 years. I've found a lot of other bands while that period of time, but the most persistent and always present band was KoRn.
A lot of my friends ask me, what fascinates me about them. I can't even tell. It is a feeling in my heart, my deepest soul.

I can hear standard Korn with diferents Nu Metal and Metal parts ( from other bands) and Post Hardcore parts. ( With much more "Korn style" ) Is not a bad thing for sure.

I turned 40 in march and i still pump out korn almost daily lol loved em since i was in high school. 1994 seems like yesterday lol
I actually didn’t like their early albums in jr high and high school. I was too into thrash. I always loved their hits like ADIDAS and Got The Life but the albums as a whole didn’t interest me much till See You On The Other Side came out and I finally had to admit this was no 1 trick pony and as the band evolved I grew to love them more with each new release. Then some of the older albums started making more sense. Current favorite album is The Serenity of Suffering. And Worst is Yet to Come is one of their best of all time.
I found them in middle school when freak on a leash came out thanks to MTV 😂
I've seen three times in Concert. They're so amazing live.
Been a fan since they came out in 94’ I was 22 years old. I’m 49 now and still loving the way Korn keeps innovating and creating new pathways for others to come. Their creativity is out of this world which is where I feel I am spiritually when I listen to their music. This album 💿 is a 13 out of 10 and the guitar 🎸 work, drums and vocals are spot on, mixed beautifully. Someone mentioned he wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Korn, well I can say they’ve also helped me through some rough times, their music just wakes my entire soul up and sets me free to do greater things. I heard them for the first time in '96. I was 10 at the time. I actually heard them through my sisters, she was 17 at the time, door as she had just picked up a cassette. I sat in the hallway listening for as long as she did. I loved it from the first time I heard it. Even for me it was a bit out there. I was listening to other standard stuff at the time. Third Eye Blind and the likes. Occasionally some Smashing Pumpkins. But I asked her for that Korn tape countless times.
Its crazy to think I listened to one band through 3 different popular music mediums. Cassette, CD, MP3.
My cousin introduced me to Korn '96 or '97. I was 4 or 5, but I couldn't tell you exactly when I was introduced to their style of music. I'm 29 now, and I've been listening to Korn ever since, and I absolutely love them.

This album is beautiful. I'm 34 now, and I've been rocking with KoRn since I was a 13 year old kid who got bullied and ostracized. When I first heard KoRn (Issues album given to me on a cassette tape), I saw them as the perfect musical expression of my pain, which made me a permanent fan. It felt so good to know that such an awesome band identified with kids who experienced what I did. Their sound has evolved in such an awesome way on this album, that it gives me chills! I love this band and they have been my absolute favorite band since 1998. Much love towards KoRn and everyone who reads this!

They have been a constant and defo in my top 10 even when they done the abum with skrillex it still had that korn feel they just keep getting better like with slipknot past few albums ive skipped a lot of tracks and struggled to get into them but for me korn stick to their roots and elevate it each time

Inflection and sarcasm are lost on the internet. I ACTUALLY like this (i stopped listening to Korn around Korn 3 or whatever.... last i remember loving was Follow the Leader)...but this feels fresh. Despite it being Korn (3) again, this feels like they were REALLY in their element and hit "drops" just right. 👏 👏 👏

I latched on to Korn at age 25. Stuck with em until follow the leader. They kinda fizzled on that album. Life took all kinda direction here and always had fond memories of those days in Georgia sparring with my new friend after work back in 96 jamming the 1st 2 albums. Fishing in a new state (native Floridian). Of course the radio took a turn on us all and i never heard much about Korn again.
Enter tonight. Nov 14 2023 and holy shit they still have albums? Wow they are killing it!! Band in much better shape than Crue would ever dream to be at 30 years in!!

From beginning to end this album is pure 🔥 I feel like I am 15 again. 28 years later and Korn is still writing my soundtrack.
Dude that's exactly what I just said. You know I really loved corn up until the issues album and then I wasn't so big into much for a while. Then when that album with Skrillex came out, I was all over that shit, so much so that I desperately tried to get together a metal step band, but that's another story.
So I remember some stuff coming out after that I didn't really care for that much but this stuff is just like you said, pure fire. Theyve kind of changed up the place for sure while still remaining true. It's more metal, don't know how else to say it
Only song that I find to be average is Lost In The Grandeur, that song just doesn't grab me like the others.

I'm 54 and the emotions Korn convey are even more relevantly meaningful and intense today than they were in the 90s. Not only that, but every album is even more sonically and compositionally impressive than the last.

Producers and songwriters...I love Korn, but they have been using outside songwriters since they worked with the song writing team, The Matrix on See You On The Other Side...I think the only album they didn't use outside help was Korn 3 and we all see how that turned out...Nothing wrong with a band using songwriters to bring out the best in their abilities though.
@@leadme2thebliss21 it's ok to help put feelings into lyrics. It's still based on his experience overall and helps many people relate and cope with their events so i see nothing wrong.
@@justafish9618 I agree. Even Head used outside help from songwriters on his album, Save Me From Myself, and band members from Breaking Benjamin on his most recent solo material co-wrote songs. Other people can help bring out the best in musicians, most music that bands release isn't 100% written by them.

Wow, wow, wow. These guys have a lot to say still. Moments of absolute, crushing beauty, surprising chords (doomy!), and some groovy hooks. Vocals are mature and lyrically rich, leaving behind any sense of predictably or, shallowness. 10/10, guys!!!

I really hope that Korn and JD realise just how many people are still living today because of them and their music. To listen to their music and know that I am not alone in my thoughts and feelings, with the constant struggle of mental health and not knowing if you want to live or die all your life. Through tragedy and darkness, you're not alone. It's saved me from taking my life more than I would like to admit. Knowing that someone other than me knows what this is like and about. Don't get me wrong, it's sad that anyone has to deal with this but just to know you are not alone. This band must have saved countless people from taking their lives cause they saved mine together with assistance. Just really hope that they know that and thank you. Thank you for your art. Its helps me fight and keep fighting even when there is no fight left. Thank you Korn. Thank you JD.

I'm 27 as of writing this, so I can confidently say Korn has been with my for my entire life. Their music has shaped the very person I am today, and it speaks volumes as to just how influential they are even after this many years. This genre will always reign supreme for me, with Korn sitting firmly on the top. Love you guys till the day I close my eyes for good.

i don't know how a band with such a long time in the game can rock so hard as if it were in earlier days and still sound fresh, but korn has been doing it somehow for a while, a banger of an album for sure.
I've been listening to them since I was 5. I'm now 32 and have NEVER been disappointed by them!! They don't make a single bad song. It's always been a dream to see them live and that dream will be filled on March 11th along with another mindblowing band, Chevelle. 2 of my favs in 1 show. I absolutely cannot fuckin wait!!!!!!!!!
I don't care what anyone says. Korn is still at the top of the game after all these years. Goes to show why they are still selling arenas out constantly. These guys just like a few other bands are still putting fire out 20 yrs later while still retaining that korn sound. These guys truly earned that legendary status!

I listen to this guys everytime i need a strong emotion that contrast the shit i am living everyday caused by my insicurities and my fragile heart. Thank you for keeping me here in one of my worst moments and thank you for giving us this beautifull and meaningfull music that saves us everyday.

It's 14th album. It's different. Thank You guys, this is another masterpiece. Forgotten, Disconnect, Penance to Sorrow and Worst on its way are definitely 10/10. And the rest songs great too
@Matěj Laci Like I said, rest of songs are great. At first I didn't really like start the healing, but it grow up on me. The only one on album im not sure about is my confession, good song but kinda lower level

it is such a huge blessing to have new music from them, I really want that Korn lasts forever.
Korn demonstrated they're not slave of their own sound: they don't lose their identity, but still they move forward, searching for a contemporary and beliveble sound, trying to overcome themselves.
With The Nothing and Requiem they propose true pieces of post-modern art, realising a compact and organic work which I really enjoyed, without any kind of pretentiousness or self-referentiality.
Didn't expect this album would be that great!

havent listened to koRn for so long. Just thought for old sake gonna try the new album. They are one band that never dissapoints. Never stop touring, doing and creating, exploring, making great videos, art in general and breaking necks. HUGE RESPECT from your oldest fan
I hope you fucking people realise that this is the best record KoRn has ever dropped and it's all because the members are all in a better place and that they've just been vibing with the music instead of pandering to your ungrateful asses. This record is not in your face, it's not trying to grab your attention all the time, it left the scatting to the end of last song kind of as a nod to the ones who are still listening. It's just 30 minutes of straight up good vibes. Start the healing is about leaving a shitty part of your life behind and like, getting therapy or something. This album is such a good thing for KoRn and we should be happy that they're feeling well after 27 years of giving us music that we will always remember. Nice work boys, you nailed it.
