the whole point here is that the GoPro is for folks who don't want to use their phone for taking footage that is longer lengths such as vlogs or travel. It's smaller and more compact for super ease of use. You can literally attach this thing to anything and no one would notice it. That's the whole point. Yes your iPhone main camera is going to have just as good of quality but with everything we do on our phones nowadays, I don't want my phone to store all that data, drain my battery, interrupt my footage with text messages and notifications, etc.

Honestly this video helped allot. I understand the convenience of GoPro but my main reason of not getting a GoPro and spending over 500 with accessories was that, that iPhone does decent without spending additional money and carrying more items on a trip.
I have an older Nikon DSLR 16MP. I still use it for video & pictures. Phone cameras just can't compare. My S22 Ultra takes really great videos and pictures, but I still turn to my Nikon unless I need to snap something quickly.

I love the Mrwhosetheboss style you went for haha! Nice video. I would like to point out that, I think you should improve your text fonts and the smoothness of the popup animation. It kinda felt thrown together half-baked and old. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, just some feeback. But other than that, awesome job bro! Can't wait to see how you improve over time.

@@JM_Tech NP, keep it up! As for the fonts, I recommend the Google Sans Medium or Bold font or the one that Mrwhosetheboss uses. Export video in 60fps or more and experiment with more, and smoother keyframes for a smoother popup animation.

A lot of the text pop up is exaggerated and not necessary. It's just distracting and makes the video hard to watch. Other than that, a good comparison video. Still got a like from me.
the iPhone 15 Pro does come a lot closer to being a usable option for real jobs. It lets you offload files very quickly indeed, since you can now film directly to an external SSD via USBc and the quality, in 4K ProRes Log, is indeed a real step up from the last generation. You will have to colorgrade it but it will be worth it as the footage will look more cinematic and smoother than regular iphone footage ,If you ever use an iPhone as a B-cam, this is a great year to upgrade.

simple, i15 is better for photography, GoPro for video, i15 can't do 4k/120, and when you turn on stabilization, crop video at 2.8k😊
Very true however, if you’re not shooting in a white angle in the iPhone would be better because it’s optically zoomed in instead of digitally

@@JM_Tech its ok nur the footage on the Action 4 and Hero 12 Look awesome and I really Like the 4K 120 Feature. And the lowlight Performance is Not good on my Hero 9.
Get the DJI action 4, bigger sensor and more reliable

The ace pro is the best alternative and it also has a two times crop mode that crops into its 48 megapixel sensor so you still get 4K

If I said that the comment section would be the atomic bomb. 😂 you really have to decide for yourself from what I’ve given you. I think for a standard person the iPhone is better for a more pro user to Gopro definitely wins. Where the big debate is is what is a pro user for action style videos.
you forget about subscribsion in gopro :D you can totally destroyed hero 12 and with subscribsion they send new one for 100 euro (1/4 of price, it is limited to 2 time per year (if i good remember)) in dji action 4 is only 25 dolars but depends of they "subscribsion" (2/3 per 1/2 years). in apple you have to buy new iphone from 1199 euro !

Sorry, it varies greatly here in the US. The iPhone is 1000 the Gopro 400.
Pricing this comparison, though is not really applicable because the iPhone does so much more I’m just comparing the hardware standpoint of the lens

There is no dashcam mode like on Insta 360 unfortunately
