- In this video I visit Knypersley Reservoir. I get some photographs of birds, autumn tress and a weir. I particularly like the image of the Madarin Duck, Nuthatch and the colours in the images of the river and weir.
Please enjoy this video.

We don't seem to have such a variety of birds as you do in one area, your videos have become part of my Sunday afternoons and I always #ENJOY
So nice of you. Glad you enjoy them.
What a stunning location to take pictures. Really #ENJOY watching your videos!
Glad you like them! This is just a reservoir that is about 15 mins from where I live. With a bit of creativity there are good locations everywhere
Hi Darrell Great video. We think the leaves in the water made a big difference in the waterfall photo. We really loved the abstract photo of the leaf on the bench. Many thanks Jon and Sandra
Really lovely location Darren, and great images too. Thanks for brightening up a rainy afternoon!
It is my pleasure. I did enjoy this shoot.
I always enjoy that you remind me that I can get photos close to home. Thank you for that. #enjoy
My pleasure! I agree some of the big UA-camrs who are full time can go to exotic locations - most of us have to fit in with work and time.
Great Video once again Darrell, definitely prefer the waterfall image with the leaves added. Really cool idea , same with the rock. Keep Clicking. #ENJOY
Simple things can make a big difference.
Great video as usual #enjoy👍

I thought that scattering the leaves on the water was a brilliant idea and worked well. Enjoyed seeing all your images and footage! Looks a lovely place.
Thanks. It is even better at this time of year and only 15 mins from home.
As always Darrel great content, it’s a pleasure watching your videos, keep them coming. 👍🏻

A lovely location Darrell. Prior to my wife and I moving to North Wales we lived in Cheshire and as well as photography I also #enjoy walking and have been around Knypersley on a number of occasions 📷👍

Very good video as usual Darrell I do agree with you about throwing the leaves in the water it added a lot more to the image 👏👏 #ENJOY
Thank Nigel. You are the first to comment on the leaves. Glad it is not just me that thinks they help.

Thanks James. So glad that you enjoy my content. I was really pleased with the variety of images I got.
Hi Darell, as always great video. Enjoyed all the photos, but I thought the image at 8:29 was particularly good. Its become a sunday afternoon/evening routine to watch your videos! all the best. #enjoy
Thanks Ian👍 I nearly didn't see that image. I got it because I was setting up my video camera for a walk by. It is one of my favourites from the day.
congratulations Darrell absolutely love your videos #ENJOY
Thank you so much Dianne. Really glad you enjoy my vids.
Another great motivating video to enjoy photography, I particularly liked the waterfall images plus noticed how steady you hold your camera when taking birds… something I need to practice more
#ENJOY
Most of the images this day were taken using a tripod. The light wasn't great and I couldn't get the shutter speed very high without taking the iso into orbit.
Excellent
I took your advice Darrell - go back to locations. I've been to Knypersley reservoir a few times - bluebells, sunrise - but decided to take advantage today of the snow in the trees. Super time. Suggestion for you - take your wellies for the stream and waterfall. Keep your tips coming. Great footage.
Thanks for the tips! It did wish I had my wellies at the time.
Another inspiring video, the leaves make all the difference in the waterfall shit by the way,
I agree. I assume you meant waterfall “shot”.🤭. 😂
Congratulations Darryl, I've tried to add you on Facebook, I've got a few good shots of knyp living close by ( Kidsgrove ) I'd like a green T-shirt please in medium #enjoy , yet again another great blog mate 👍
Lovely colours in this video, great photos too. I like the framing of the photos but it’s skewed the titles again (this time about 2 characters to the left are off screen) when watching on large TV (just fyi) #Enjoy
The far left characters are lens info it was either 24-120mm or 200-500mm
congratulations on your milestone Darrell, that was a quite day you picked to do the vlog. #ENJOY
I think the colours of the leaves really helped. The birds mainly appeared due to the seed that I took.
Stunning images as always Darrell, inspiration to get up and get out and hopefully not get in your images again ( three shires ) #ENJOY
Thanks Jonathan. Hope I can be an inspiration.
#ENJOY
Darrell what camera did you use on this trip . and what camouflage cover did you use on your 200mm to 500 mm lens.
I used my Nikon D850. I must have got the camouflage from Wex photographic. I couldn’t see it on my Amazon.
Grey squirrels are a pest and I believe that sightings must be reported to local authorities to allow the control of numbers in the UK, I may be wrong but I also believe it is written in law that you should report them.
I can’t find any reference to reporting grey squirrels. I would be never ending reporting because I see them all the time everywhere. I could imagine having to report reds because there are far less of them. If you have a source for where you saw this rule I would be interested to look into it.
Please can I have your shirt please I like this video #ENJOY
Thank Riley, stay tuned to find out if you’re a winner.
@@DarrellOakdenPhotography I will
Mr Oakden. Sorry.#Enjoy
Don’t worry I’ve seen lots more mis-spellings of my first name. 👍
