Thank you for watching... In this video I share with you the Helikon-Tex Bergen. This pack was designed to be a bushcraft pack. It is very well built and has an excellent design and materials. I found that is can also be a great EDC carry pack with a very comfortable harness system. I think the best thing about this pack is the price. It's hard to find quality gear like this for under 150 bucks.

So, an update after a year of use for me. I've added two helikon tex sere pouches and a bandicoot pouch. I've also added padding to the shoulder straps and I modified and attached a waist belt from a kelty coyote! I call it my hellcat mod bergen. Whole new animal now. Very comfortable with a 31 pound loadout.
is this good as a Daddy-day pack ? i need to pack water , snacks , diapers ,extra clothes for 2 children and my own stuff
Nice review, I love the way presented it and were casual in your delivery like you were just having a conversation with us. Awesome work, thanks for posting your thoughts. ❤
I've got that bag, I've been using it as a work bag for about a year, still looks brand new.
I find that the Maxpedition Beefy pocket organizer fits perfectly. I use one to keep all my charging gear and a power bank in, which stashes neatly in the side pocket. The other side I keep a travel mug and a water bottle. The front pouch has meds, FAK, and a few odds and ends.
Love my Bergen.
I like when a bag doesn't overuse molle
I've had one of these for about a year now, hands down the best daysack I've ever had.
Helikon-Tex really understands their potential customer/customer's base. The design team comes up with awesome ways to implement functionality into form. Thanks for sharing, Bro-ham. One
I have been one of your subscribers for quite a while and I have enjoyed your reviews. I have been into bushcraft for many years and it is good to see your getting into reviewing some bags for my community...the Bushcraft community.👍👍👍
Right on
Excellent video. Thank you. Getting the bag. Been looking for a proper truck bag for almost a year. You helped me make the jump. Much obliged.
I have it about a month ago and I love it..modern version of a classic design. Same colour as yours too! Love the grey!
I used this bag for a overnighter in the woods. Totaly perfect if you have a smaller kit
I think it's is 25l but 18l is the main compartment but 25 with the 3 external pockets
I have the Helikon Tex Matilda pack in black and coyote brown. One pack, the black one, I use as a go bag.The coyote brown I use as a camping backpack. I also have the Helikon Tex Bushcraft Satchel as a day bag.I said all this to say I love Helikon Tex products. Great video bro! I have a couple of videos on my channel for two of their products.
This looks awesome, definitely buying. Thanks for your in depth review
Awesome review. I’m sold. Thanks!
Thats a sweet bag. I really like the style and seems a tad better than the Mystery Ranch Rip Ruck bags. Nice review as always. Keep'em coming
Nice review, good job
Super solid review man!!😁✌️💚
solid review and knowledge. Cool additional recommendations.
Wow!!!!!! Very nice design and features
Shout out to the cheap Walmart headlamps. I have a couple, they’re 6$ and take a couple AAAs. Nothing fancy but for the price, no reason to not keep a few around. Great for walking the dog at night. I keep one in my pack as well as this wife’s. Great review brother.
Wow, quite a fully featured pack for the money! Will check these out for sure. Thanks for the awesome review ;)
Looking at getting one of these. Real helpful review thank you. Cheers Stu NZ
The outer pockets need to be a little taller ( about an inch) so it can hold the Grail water filter or the 32 oz water bottle. It fits but really tight
Fajny plecak. thanks for the video.
GIT IT GEORGEEEEEE 9:14 coming out to playyyyyy.
this is niiiiiiiiiiiice. im not at all mad about the "dump sack" main compartment, makes a lot of sense for the target audience, especially when you still have the lid pocket, small pocket inside, the three external. plenty. also can we talk about that hella sweet ipad bag/pouch you snuck in there?!! techwear geeks are losing their minds right now XD
Those side pockets makes it look like it's for larger frame people. It's like you have to side step everytime you go through a doorway. But then again, this is made for bushcraft and outdoors. Great looking bag though
Nice, but I just ordered the mystery ranch 24.
Maybe next time
What color is the pack in the video? Is it the Olive green or the Adaptive green? Thanks
Can a 15 inch laptop fit into the hydration sleeve? And will it be protected?
Just wish it comes in 25ltr
Anyone know if you can take the framesheet out?
Just a question, how many total backpacks do you own as personal use in your house?
Not many.. everyone thinks I own a lot but honestly I only keep the best of the best for personal use.
$130? Your link shows this pack over $150
