Two AC/DC tracks that no one ever mentions that are in my top ten - "Next To The Moon" and "Shot of Love". Love "Touch Too Much" as well, very underrated. The breakdown in TTM and backing vocals are just brilliant.
#1 Down Payment Blues. Favorite rock n' roll lyrics ever. "I know that it's evil, I know that its got to be, no I ain't doing much, doing nothing means a lot to me, living on a shoe string, a 50 cent millionaire, open to charity, rock 'n' roll welfare." Greatest opening lyrics to a song ever. And the other lines....."I got myself a Cadillac, but I can't afford the gasoline". ......."Feeling like a paper cup, floating down a storm drain." Bon Scott was truly special.
You rock and I salute you!!! AC/DC is one favorite bands so I really don't have a top 10 list, I like just about everything they have done. Not all but most of it.
Dude hell yeah!! My all time favorite band, and I feel like I’m committing a crime by not putting some songs in my top 10, but here we go - 10. Overdose 9. Hells Bells 8. Down Payment Blues 7. Gimme a Bullet 6. Shoot to Thrill 5. Live Wire 4. Walk All Over You 3. What’s Next to the Moon 2. Have a Drink On Me 1. Whole Lotta Rosie This could change at any moment, but it’s how I’m feeling right now. Wish I could have included more Brian Johnson-era tracks, but Bon is what I listened to the first few years that I was a fan so I have more nostalgia for those tracks.

Great review man, it’s amazing what AC/DC achieved, absolute brilliance with bon Scott and then to go through losing bon and having a totally different lead to then making more great music is incredible!
Love the t-shirt Steve! My list is way different then your list but still have some of your favorite songs on my top ten! Everyone has their own view on what is their favorite songs and that is alright! Keep up the great work on your UA-cam channel Steve! 👍🤘🤯🎶
My top 10: 10. It's A Long Way To The Top... 9. Rock N Roll Damnation 8. You Shook Me All Night Long 7. Back In Black 6. T.N.T. 5. Thunderstruck 4. Hells Bells 3. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap 2. Let Me Put My Love Into You 1. Touch Too Much
About your closing remarks. I have discovered so many songs and bands, that I did not pay attention to before, and now I am enjoying them very much, thanks to you. Rock and roll would not exist if everybody was listening to the same stuff.
1. Back in black 2. Let there be rock 3. Riff Raff 4. Down payment blues 5. Shoot to thrill 6. Ride on 7. Live Wire 8. If you want blood 9. Whole lotta Rosie 10. Up to my neck in you
That song is weird for me. I wouldn't list it as my absolute favorite (I'd say maybe number 5?), but it's the song that whenever I hear it causes me to pull out the AC/DC again after a break from listening.
Nice list, I would have Overdose at #1 and Sin City at #2, but it's cool someone else picks my favorite 2 songs, I would round out my top 5 with, Back In Black, Shot Down In Flames and Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be.
Mr. Pardo, I'm amazed, SHOOT THE THRILL and WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE, their two best songs, I thought we were opposites, except you did pick my favorite STYX song as yours, QUEEN OF SPADES, still shocked.
I knew you would pick that song! I'm sitting here thinking what could Pete's number one AC DC song be and my first thought was Let There be Rock and then my second thought was It's a Long Way to the Top and then my third thought was Shoot to Thrill and then believe it or not I thought how about Riff Raff! But the more you got closer to number one I said it has to be Shoot to Thrill because that is a damn good fucking song! You picked the best ACDC song for your favorite! Good job Pete! At least all four of those songs were in your top 10. Right now I have the video stopped at 6:02 because you just revealed That Shoot to Thrill is your favorite! So I didn't have a lot of time to get the same songs that you picked together in my head but you nailed it!
Good list Pete. "Sin City" has to be my number 1. Other favourites for me: What's next to the moon, the live version of live wire which was the b side to touch too much along with shot down in flames. I understand that "that song" is way over played but makes me smile as soon as I hear it.
My top 10 would be: 1. Back In Black 2. Highway to Hell 3. Whole Lotta Rosie 4. Let There Be Rock 5. Thunderstruck 6. Hells Bells 7. You Shook Me All Night Long 8. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap 9. Ride On 10. It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)
One of my favorite bands of all time so this list was extremely difficult love a lot of songs. 1. Riff Raff 2. Shoot to Thrill 3. Let There Be Rock 4. Shot down in Flames 5. Girls Got Rhythm 6. I've been listening to Flick of the Switch nonstop the last few months and I think it's their most underrated album. Especially the title track, Guns for Hire, and Bedlam in Belgium. Burnin' Alive off of Ballbreaker is very underrated. There all kick ass! 🤘

No, actually, AC/DC has *_always_* been from Australia, mate; it's just that the Young Brothers were born in Glasgow UK and migrated to Australia in 1963. Hugs, buddy!
Phil was the only Australian, if I remember correctly. Bon also being from Scotland and Brian and Cliff being English. But yes, I agree that the band is Australian.
Riff raff Beatin around the bush Rock n roll ain’t noise pollution If you want blood Have a drink on me The jack So many great tunes... Nice list Pete 🤘🎶🍺
1. Highway To Hell, 2. Hell’s Bells, 3. Are You Ready, 4. Rising Power, 5. Live Wire, 6. Whole Lotta Rosie, 7. Night Prowler, 8. It’s A Long Way To The Top For Rock and Roll, 9. Touch To Much, 10. Walk All Over You

I made a list of 30 before I watched this, then tried to refine it. The only ones we both agreed on for top ten? Long way to the Top, Riff Raff, Shoot to Thrill. So many good songs.
10- The Furor 9- Moneytalks 8- Rock N Roll Train 7- Touch Too Much 6- Rocker 5- Problem Child 4- Thunderstruck 3- Ride On 2- Overdose 1- Whole Lotta Rosie Let There Be Rock is my favourite ACDC album :)
I remember in one of your previous videos songs that you never have to hear again and of course from Back in Black it was You Shook Me All Night Long. You and I are about the same age, Pete. I'm 55 and I'm still blown away every time I hear the whole album Back in Black including You Shook Me All Night Long. We are still young yet, Pete. There's still plenty of time for you to regain faith in You Shook Me All Night Long. It is a hard cool pounding rock and roll anthem song.
So hard to tell. 1.- Touch too much 2.- Night Prowler (I know it's weird but I love that song) 3.- Whole lotta Rosie 4.- It's a long way to the top 5.- Hells Bells 6.- For those about to rock 7.- Sin City 8.- Shake Your Foundations 9.- Let there be rock 10.- Two's up They can change in any moment....so hard
Excellent List SoT!. I have a pretty big Bon Scott Bias but here is my list: 10. Overdose 9. Jail Break 8. Given the dog a bone 7. Kicked in the Teeth 6. Evil Walks 5. Ride On 4. Touch too Much 3. *My AC/DC Top 10:* 1) For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) 2) Night Prowler 3) Down Payment Blues 4) Back In Black 5) Hells Bells 6) Thunderstruck 7) Whole Lotta Rosie 8) Problem Child 9) It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll) 10) Touch Too Much/Walk All Over You *Honorable Mentions:* Soul Stripper, Jailbreak, TNT (just missed), Live Wire (just missed), High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Ride On, Highway To Hell (even though I've heard it so much, but it's still a great song), Shoot To Thrill (just missed), Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution (probably would have made it but the commercial knocked it down a peg), Inject The Venom, Flick Of The Switch (just missed), Guns For Hire (just missed), Danger (just missed), Sink The Pink, Shake Your Foundations, Fly On The Wall, Hell Or High Water, DT (just missed), Who Made Who, Heatseeker, Fire Your Guns, Moneytalks, Big Gun, Stiff Upper Lip, Safe In New York City (what bitter irony that came-out a year before The 9/11 Attacks 😕), and Big Jack. Whew!!!! 🤘

Here's my first ever attempt at doing a top 10, and it's on AC/DC of all bands. :) Also, trying to avoid the one song that must not be named, here they are: 10. Anything Goes, from Black Ice, a song I've begun to like only just recently. 9. Can't Stand Still, from Stiff Upper Lip, I dig the riff on that one. 8. Sink The Pink, from Fly On The Wall, also dig the riff. 7. Touch Too Much, from Highway To Hell, like Pete said, underrated. 6. Dirty Deeds, from Dirty Deeds, I can't not have it in there. 5. Highway To Hell, from Highway To Hell, also can't not have it in. 4. Jailbreak, from wherever Jailbreak appeared on first, I just love the whole construction of it. 3. Let There Be Rock, from Let There Be Rock, just like Jailbreak but better. 2. The Jack from High Voltage (or is it from T.N.T.?), An early favorite of mine. 1. Ride On, from Dirty Deeds, another early favorite, I just love that one, I know it's not as hard hitting and it's more bluesy, but I still love it.
My top favorite are 1 For Those About To Rock We Salute You (This song made AC/DC my favorite band the first time I ever heard it) 2 Who Made Who 3 TNT 4 Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep 5 You Shook Me All Night Long 6 Back In Black 7 Shoot To Thrill 8 Thunderstruck 9 It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Want to Rock 'N Roll) 10 Ride On
Don't know this band's name but their initials are AC/DC. One of my all time favorites is from Highway to Hell, "Ride On". Bluesy changeup from their normal crunchy rock stuff. Great band I never got to see. Damn!!!
Anti Christ / Devil Cult my best friend heard that somewhere 1979/80 & we rolled with that, and sometimes that made some people uneasy but we didn't give a F. There was a radio DJ { Steve Slayton on KISW Seattle's Best Rock } who would say " I can't tell you thier name just thier initials " so thanks for reminding me of that. Your right "Ride On" is a overlooked gem.
I'm 53 and we have extremely similar tastes in great music. Gotta go with Sin City, Girls Got Rhythm, If You Want Blood, Shot Down, Inject the Venom, Problem Child, + many more
1. Let There Be Rock 2. Touch Too Much 3. Shoot To Thrill 4. Back In Black 5. Girl's Got Rhythm 6. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap 7. Ride On 8. Whole Lotta Rosie 9. Hell's Bells 10. It's A Long Way To The Top
Personally AC/DC are a favorite of mine, top five band of all time in my books (shared in that top 5 is Metallica, Pantera, Aerosmith and Guns N' Roses), I love both Bon and Brian's respective eras equally as I think they both were phenomenal songwriters, singers and frontmen! With that said, this would be my top ten. #10 - Let There Be Rock - (Let There Be Rock) #9 - Rock 'N' Roll Damnation - (Powerage) #8 - It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'N' Roll) - (High Voltage) #7 - Thunderstruck - (The Razors Edge) #6 - Down Payment Blues - (Powerage) #5 - Hail Caesar - (Ballbreaker) #4 - Shoot To Thrill - (Back In Black) #3 - Girls Got Rhythm - (Highway To Hell) #2 - If You Want Blood (You Got It) - (Highway To Hell) #1 - Whole Lotta Rosie - (Let There Be Rock)
1) Shoot to thrill 2) Gone Shootin´ 3) Let there be rock 4) Thunderstruck 5) It´s a long way to the top 6) For those about o Rock 7) Touch too Much 8 )Sin City 9) Girl got rhythm 10) Hell´s Bells
AC/DC has a lot of great songs that are fun to play on guitar . I randomly started playing "Walk all over you" at band practice one day "years ago" :D Our drummer immediately caught it and it became part of our regular set . Night prowler, Oh I love "Shot down in flames" my honorable mentions .
AC/DC has such a big catalogue, it's hard to narrow it down. If one asked me 30 years ago, I'd have different answers. Even now, it varies. Albums like Black In Black are iconic, but they've also been played to death. As such, I tend towards the deeper cuts. I couldn't narrow it down to a top ten, but my current top fifthteen in no particular order would be: 1. Baby, Please Don't Go 2. There's Gonna Be Some Rockin" 3. RIP (Rock In Peace) 4. Jailbreak 5. Gimme A Bullet 6. What's Next To The Moon 7. Giving The Dog A Bone 8. Snowballed 9. Badlands 10. Playing With Girls 11. Back In Business 12. Stiff Upper Lip 13. Hold Me Back 14. Safe In New York City 15. Anything Goes
Here's my list: 10) Danger 9) Can't Stop Rock N Roll 8) If You Want Blood (You've Got It) 7) Rock N Roll Ain't Noise Pollution 6) Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap 5) Shoot To Thrill 4) Heatseaker 3) Rock N Roll Train 2) Riff Raff 1) For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)
It's hard for me to pick a top favorite off 'Powerage' but back in the day 'Down Payment Blues' gave me goosebumps.
“Powerage” is my fave album
Power Age rules in my book. I never get tired of listening to it.
GREAT song......easily my fav from Powerage and among my top 10 fav ACDC tracks!!
My fave too. Kicked in the teeth is their best song imo
Sin City

Gone Shootin' would be high in my top ten.
Me too.

Man, Overdose is my all time favorite AC/DC song!!!
Right on Eric...
Let Me Put My Love into You babe.
This has creeped up to be one of my faves.
I love that song too man, Back in Black is a masterpiece in my opinion
Two AC/DC tracks that no one ever mentions that are in my top ten - "Next To The Moon" and "Shot of Love". Love "Touch Too Much" as well, very underrated. The breakdown in TTM and backing vocals are just brilliant.
See my top 10 for What's Next To The Moon and Shot of Love made my honorable mentions... probably my fave track from The Razor's Edge.
Touch Too Much is on my list. Those other two are great as well!
Touch Too Much is phenomenal! Quite possibly the best song on that album, and that's saying alot!
Flick of the Switch is a great album. It's Brian Johnson's Powerage.
It’s a great album but cannot be compared with Powerage, it’s a totally different style album, it has number 7 spot in album rankings!
4 years late lol hope you are well and can come back to this!
Great list, Pete, "Sink The Pink", a forgotten favorite.

AC/DC has always been one of my favorite bands, and I have NO IDEA what are my favorite songs. So many classics to chose from!!
Great video. Can’t wait for the new record! Thanks
Great review man, it’s amazing what AC/DC achieved, absolute brilliance with bon Scott and then to go through losing bon and having a totally different lead to then making more great music is incredible!

2. Let Me Put My Love Into You
1. Touch Too Much
Love your closing comments too. So so true. Some people love to be identified by what they hate rather than what they love.
About your closing remarks. I have discovered so many songs and bands, that I did not pay attention to before, and now I am enjoying them very much, thanks to you. Rock and roll would not exist if everybody was listening to the same stuff.
1. Back in black

6. Ride on
7. Live Wire
8. If you want blood
9. Whole lotta Rosie
10. Up to my neck in you
great list Pete and an awesome show as always
Touch Too Much is my favorite.
That song is weird for me. I wouldn't list it as my absolute favorite (I'd say maybe number 5?), but it's the song that whenever I hear it causes me to pull out the AC/DC again after a break from listening.
5) Gone Shootin'
4) Down Payment Blues
3) Cold Hearted Man
2) Overdose
1) Sin City
Nice list, I would have Overdose at #1 and Sin City at #2, but it's cool someone else picks my favorite 2 songs, I would round out my top 5 with, Back In Black, Shot Down In Flames and Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be.
love Sin City
Big fan of Powerage I see!
That's a good list. Add What's next to the Moon...
Sin City is just killer.
Nice job on one of my favorite bands growing up...thanks
I enjoy a lot listening to Beating around the bush.
The drum track on that song would challenge many drummers today.
great list keep on pete
Thunderstruck? A glaring omission from the top 10. A high point of their live performance.
I dig it, but it doesn't quite make it for me.
Their most overrated and overplayed song IMO.
Fire your guns deserved a mention
Shake Your Foundations is one of my all time
favourite AC/DC songs. Underrated as hell. The riff is killer.
Yeah one of mine too
Flick of the Switch is awesome, one of my favorite AC/DC albums. Just listened to it a couple days ago.🤘🏻
Kicked in the Teeth!! Awesome song! If you want Blood! Is my favorite from them, too too many to mention!!
Pete, you are the Man...AC/DC THE GREATEST HARD ROCK BAND EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good list Pete. "Sin City" has to be my number 1. Other favourites for me: What's next to the moon, the live version of live wire which was the b side to touch too much along with shot down in flames. I understand that "that song" is way over played but makes me smile as soon as I hear it.

No, actually, AC/DC has *_always_* been from Australia, mate; it's just that the Young Brothers were born in Glasgow UK and migrated to Australia in 1963. Hugs, buddy!
Ha, I wrote a bit of a rant about that before I saw your post. :)
Phil was the only Australian, if I remember correctly. Bon also being from Scotland and Brian and Cliff being English. But yes, I agree that the band is Australian.
Isn't Mark Evans Australian?
I only checked out FOTS because of you Pete, and you’re absolutely right. I really enjoy that record!

Nope...that ship has LONG ago sailed for me!

Here's my first ever attempt at doing a top 10, and it's on AC/DC of all bands. :)
Also, trying to avoid the one song that must not be named, here they are:
My top favorite are
1 For Those About To Rock We Salute You (This song made AC/DC my favorite band the first time I ever heard it)
2 Who Made Who
3 TNT
4 Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep
5 You Shook Me All Night Long
6 Back In Black
7 Shoot To Thrill
8 Thunderstruck
9 It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Want to Rock 'N Roll)
10 Ride On
Don't know this band's name but their initials are AC/DC.
Nobody called me out on this one. "Ride On" is on Dirty Deeds, not Highway to Hell...
Same as KISS (Kids In Satan´s Service or Keep It Simply Stupid)
I'm 53 and we have extremely similar tastes in great music. Gotta go with Sin City, Girls Got Rhythm, If You Want Blood, Shot Down, Inject the Venom, Problem Child, + many more

Flick and Wall are great. C.O.D.and evil walks for sure. Completely agree about the song that shall not be mentioned.
Yesssss someone who loves flick of the switch. Superb album good on ya Pete. Any chance of a history of DC? after purple they are my absolute hero's
For as long as I live ACDC will be my favorite
AC/DC has such a big catalogue, it's hard to narrow it down. If one asked me 30 years ago, I'd have different answers. Even now, it varies. Albums like Black In Black are iconic, but they've also been played to death. As such, I tend towards the deeper cuts. I couldn't narrow it down to a top ten, but my current top fifthteen in no particular order would be:
1. Baby, Please Don't Go
2. There's Gonna Be Some Rockin"
3. RIP (Rock In Peace)
4. Jailbreak
5. Gimme A Bullet
6. What's Next To The Moon
7. Giving The Dog A Bone
8. Snowballed
9. Badlands
10. Playing With Girls
11. Back In Business
12. Stiff Upper Lip
13. Hold Me Back
14. Safe In New York City
15. Anything Goes
Good choices. Girls got rhythm and shoot to thrill are my favourite tracks.
Here's my list:
10) Danger
9) Can't Stop Rock N Roll
8) If You Want Blood (You've Got It)
7) Rock N Roll Ain't Noise Pollution
6) Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
5) Shoot To Thrill
4) Heatseaker
3) Rock N Roll Train
2) Riff Raff
1) For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)
