Nice vintage video, but I think they should remove the glad hands and cord before pulling away from the firth wheel, keeps the lines off the grease and less chance of accidental line breaking. That Koehring is a good crawler we had one back in the 1970s for clearing our ponds, miss that old machine.
how about chaining down the crane itself. just putting a safety chain on that boom does NOTHING! even friction crane booms will slack off during transport. If i hauled a crane in Delaware the way this DOT video says I'd be in jail after i got out of the hospital if I lived thru the crash!

Definitely need to disconnect air and electrical before pulling out. I've seen many trailers and power units damaged because of that.

truckerjay1 Nah mate. If you do that, it ruins the fun of see if the crane fall off all not. You got to make your day interesting.
