Good video , one important thing that wasn’t didn’t mention, but was quickly flashed on the chart, is the chain grade rating , transport chains have to be grade 7 or better . The grade will be stamped on every 4th - 6th link , on old, well used chains it maybe hard to see without your glasses 🤓…. Also ….when tying any piece of equipment down , make sure the tie down chain isn’t anywhere near a brake line, brake pot, water line , oil line , or radiator …. Lesson learned the hard way 😮
Boy that trainer is being to nice “ the operator was too tired to clean the machine off” …… you mean “ the operator was too dam lazy to clean the machine off “ 😎🍺♥️
hello if i get a job to drive the low boy trailers am i the one who is supposed to drive and load all those heavy machines or for me i just drive my trailer and to tie those machine s
Always be willing to learn. Knowledge is priceless, if you don't need to, ASK if you can.... put that experience on your resume for your next job when you start making the real money with that experience 💰
Not to mention that he had more than 50% of the tire off the trailer which is flat out against the law. But maybe he should run a customers machines off and rip up the sidewall so that he could a valuable lesson.
@johnwienser6534 ….any machine on rubber operating in a rock quarry’ , gravel pit and blasting site will have tires with pretty beefy sidewalls for obvious reasons , grader tires sidewalls are fairly wimpy though

Just got a heavy haul job. The training is less than desired but its a great opportunity to learn. Thanks for sharing this video and information

He makes it look easy!those chains and binders are heavy!

So many people need to be educated on direct and indirect securement...not just what the book says....but what it actually means
Elaborate. I'd like to learn. Thanks
The strongest tied down is the shortest tie down. Most of the time crossing your chains means a longer tied down.
Ya exactly lol, never understood why guys do that
Physics…
You cross chains to pull both sides, not everybody has short chains on them have to use what you have@londonacheronti4768
Don't you have to chain both sides of the articulating joint, unless it has a locking bar?

Thanks for sharing mr cahill David cahill at cahill transport and hauling llc Kailua Kona Hawaii 🤙🏽
Get a height stick, and gloves , keep that steering wheel clean. Nice job Mr Cahill
Why didn't you all use the outriggers?? Just wondering. Great informative video.
If 51% of base is on trailer then outriggers are not required
@@stephensnoke8658 Thanks for answering my question. I was just wondering.
No worries. Plus there is no direct dot law about using them. Most of us don't because they are a pain
That is some serious s--t! Well done and good video!
Never saw you eliminate articulation pinning both frames together, might need gloves.
He made it all look easy
Loading such a crocodile is really impressive.
Right on!!!

lol yes and you will also clean track because the operators won’t
Where are oversize flags and signs?
What size are those chains @2:55???
💯✌️
Where are your gloves, in side of truck must be filthy
Because touching the tires magically makes the machine good to haul.
Put some gloves on bro
My thoughts exactly
should have used outriggers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Worthless information, first pick up the trailer and then secure the chains.
GFYM
Mannnnn NOT USING THOSE OUTRIGGERS WILL GET U RAN OFF. TO EACH HIS OWN.
