Best lesson I've ever seen on getting some of Stevie's technique down. Thanks Dani!

People, do check out the band! Marbin sounds amazing and is really cool to listen to. I am glad that I did.

Amp was one of the most crucial parts of his electric sound, gotta be a tube amp, i've experimented many amps and the only one that really get anywhere near is those old fender amps, Marshalls get close, Peavey gets a damn good sound, as he played all 3 of those. But as we all know its all in the hands like you're demonstrating, theres a vid of him playing a tele and one of him playing an early Squire, sounds like himself. Single coils, tube amp, and heavy hand will get you most of the way in all honesty

What's your take on fret size? I just got a custom shop with 6105's and they are too tall. I wish I had got medium jumbo fret instead. I suggest that anyone planning on dropping a lot of dough on an axe should consider fret size.

I find it hard to play SRV's fast barring style with 6105's. I regret not getting medium jumbos on a rosewood neck...

Great video, thank you so much. Do you still use 0.11 strings in standard tuning? Just wondering... Again many thanks!

Not being Rude or Sarcastic But its in the hands of the Players Stevie Ray Vaughan had large hands same as Jimi Hendrix Simply put No one is ever going to nail SRV or Hendrix or Clapton or any of the Greatest Guitar Gods Its in the Fingers of those Guitar Gods You could spend thousands on Guitars and amps and pedals but your not going to SOUND LIKE THEM PERIOD
