My dad had a white Fiero (non GT) with a black bra back in 1985. He let me drive it all the time and I took such good care of it. I was so sad the day he sold it. Thanks for this video brings back fond memories of my "cool" dad. One of these days I'd love to get myself a Fiero as a weekend cruiser...
I've never owned a Fiero yet but i have loved them my entire life. I like everything every different person can do to theirs to make them their own, they look so slick with people's custom touches. The only thing i don't like is when a Fiero has the engine moved to the front, but anything else, any motor swap, any body style, i love them all. I think the Fiero is the most beautiful car design for a car at its price point in history.

My Fiero is the red '85 GT at 23:42, we made the trip all of the way from New Brunswick, Canada! I replaced the clutch release lever at night 8 hours before leaving for Pontiac from Ontario. Nothing was going to stop me from coming to the 40th, even the clutch!

I almost bought a Red Fiero GT in 1988. My father said there was no way I could afford a Ferrari!....Luckily the bank agreed, and I had to give it back.
@FieroAustin Shamefully! I was young. I had a wiper switch problem. I didn't own a wheel puller so before the wiper part arrived I had my buddy loosen the wheel with his puller. Well, the part was late and the wheel came off in my hand while driving on a curvey back road. I couldn't get the steering wheel back on while driving and before I could slow down I was up on a steep embankment to the passenger side. Up it went until she flipped. My side was crushed pretty far down. I smelled gas, being a Fiero, meaning FIRE, I panicked and quickly got out the passenger side. My buddy got cut by the broken glass but I was fine. I never saw it again.
No formula 88’s amazing just one or two I saw. I got an 88 formula stick cali car low miles all stock and keeping it from being ratted out. I mean I might buy an 85 and swap it.
Fieros are mid-engine. They actually have very good handling. Very stable. Weight distribution is 52-48 rear biased. The only trouble is snap oversteer; if you do lose control which is difficult, it is much harder to regain control in a mid-engine car because it will spin about the center of the car (the center of gravity for a mid-engine car). The solution to this is actually to minimize weight transfer by continuing on the throttle rather than letting off or hitting the brakes.
