- Was asked the people of CHAZ, a police and government free zone established around BLM Black Lives Matter and the mourning of George Floyd, why were they taking over Seattle. We have travelled to many regions globally containing oppressed people, and the message is often misinterpreted by the institutional media and government. This is what we found in Seattle on the ground, from the people.

She didn't even call it off when there were multiple murders, the latter from the Chaz's own policing force.
It was when other city council members came to protest her house that she needs to resign for not being more woke.
She then stopped it. And made a statement that, basically another concilperson with different views calling for her removal was unacceptable. She got that job for being openly lesbian because the openly gay mayor didn't work out because of pedo charges. The same council was later known from their having brought a Trans stripper to strip during a luncheon to stop the homelessness.
I do find some irony in that they made a cop free zone and attempted to enforce this by creating what is essentially they're own cops

Back in '13 there was a similar occupation in my country's capital. Very much a stone throw away from our Parliament (kinda like the Capitol Hill). I was a part of the community and the events there. I frequented the site and ultimately got to know and befriend the organisers of the occupation. The protest was supported semi-officially and some say organised logistically by the US embassy. It carried on for months, half a year if I recall. Essentially all our food, medicine, communication equipment, sleeping bags, tents and policing gear and other equipment was provided by a single lawyer, that was involved with the US embassy (I remember some of the items had "US property" stamped on them XD). His actions were widely recognised as a thinly valed front for the US embassy, so they had some albeit minimal distance from the events.
My point is that these "serendipitous" "spontaneous" and "natural" protests are rarely any of the the three, hardly ever and the real question here is who is behind them. If the level of complexity and organisation is to the level advertised, you can be sure that some outside force had a helpful nudge or shove to make things going. Now this could be a foreign power - China is a prime suspect, considering the slogans and left leanings of the people of the protest, but in all honesty this could just as easily be a domestic power, such as the Democratic or even the Republican party or other. You can't know unless you are there and really dig. Besides starting trouble in a third world shithole - nobody would mind, but start shit in the US... You better cover your tracks well. So finding proof or evidence of meddling will be tough. And yes sure this is pure guessing. I don't know who is behind this occupation, but considering the US's foreign policy this sure is poetic irony.

It's so difficult to form a real opinion on this. I hear what they're saying, but I almost feel like I should make the trip out there and talk to people, one on one. My biggest fear is that it won't last.....the peace will collapse within the borders. Right now I would feel safe entering there, without having to watch my back, but how long will that last? I believe things need to change, but these types of changes take time. Bottom line is you can't please everyone. It would be great if everyone could just look at each other equally, but it'll never happen. There will always be ignorance and hate, but I believe we can make most of that go away. I went and checked it out for myself (novel idea). Burgers and hot dogs with actual meat were being being offered. Most people there aren't staying the night, they go home. Ones that do stay will go home during the day. The idea that is a bunch of jobless unclean people is just false (to a point). As a local I've talked to many people that haven't been there but they are donating money and supplies, even by those that don't agree with the occupation. I'm remaining neutral as I'm trying to find common ground for all so we can move forward. The whole left vs right seems to be exactly what elites want. So, I am honestly trying to think this through. Creating a safe space by taking it from others, building a barrier and only letting safe people in. Making demands to be met that will satisfy said group of people. Policing yourself....while taking care of your own infrastructure for which at some point...when there isnt enough food, or proper facilities in which to function, yet we have no leader...but we are working together, to not have a leader.....Also, let others have an opinion, and if your opinion is different than ours....you incite rioting...not us......My head is just swirling from the confusion.....not so sure I can work this one out in my mind....but interested to see how they work through it. There's literally a difference between a protest that doesn't block traffic and vandalize property and one that follows the rules that the city has laid out.

If you want to protest without disturbing people, you might as well be writing in your journal. if the public cared as much about traffic and private property as they care about black lives and police brutality, then we wouldn't have multiple generations of police brutality and racial injustice.

If you want civil order, provide civil rights. If you want peace, take effective action to prevent injustice. If you aren't concerned by the problem, and traffic/ private property affects you more than the problem, than you are exactly the reason that people are protesting.

In the Walking Dead tv show the communities end up hanging criminals without a trial. How are the leaders appointed here? Why are they using parts of a city that the taxpayer paid for and owns ? Give them a patch of barren dirt to live on and build on. See how far they get. These buildings and streets aren't their property. Where are the people who own and work in those buildings and businesses? Where is the water and food coming from? They think the water supply (which costs money to be maintained and supplied ) should be free?
Cut this area off from the taxpayer, the judicial system, the police and any form of outside help with food and water supply and see how long they last. Also, hand out copies of George Orwell's Animal Farm to them.

For someone who has never been to this area: who owns the buildings and businesses in the area? Are they being allowed to operate their businesses or are they just supposed to go away! Could you address that? Asking as a business owner in another state.

I have a friend whose very close to that location and checked out the place... mostly their response is that CHAZ is being united, less brutality, and focus on Black Lives... but as someone whose outside of that I really don't think that's the whole truth :(
There is propoganda going on, majority in the community won't show violence even though there is. No police in the location, but there are people who are policing in that area.. no food from government, but food is being brought by people ordering food from companies that pays taxes to government and stores that is right at or in the boarder zone have been looted because of the community needing food. The garden is soo sad, no one knows how to plant plants or know enough that it takes time and labor to do it as well as motivation. I could step in, but if they want my camera or phone for the communities safe zone, that's not giving me freedom to really show what actually goes one. I don't trust handing my babies (cameras) to others or having people follow me to make sure I'm only showing the good things and not the bad.
This entire situation is ridiculous and sadly funny, because US is supposed to be a free country, but in this small group they want to be a third country.. it's like Animal farm happening within a freedom country.. I can see a lot of Third country actions going on in this community..

Nah, that won't work. They don't mind living in tents. Just have a seige like has been done in the past. Have 5 or so military helicopters dropping 100,000 leaflets saying 24 hours to leave after which time the only way you will leave is to a prison cell. Give alternate accommodation to any genuine residents if they are there. After the 24 hours no food going in they will all be out in a few days.

It wasn’t “conquered” or anything, the Native Americans didn’t have a formal military force nor did they even believe in the concept of taking land or owning land, but occupied land in cycles until they were forced out by European settlers.
