- In the early morning on June 9th, Seattle activists took over about 6 blocks surrounding the recently abandoned East Precinct of the Seattle Police Department - and they haven’t left.
The demonstration has most infamously been called CHAZ, or the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone. Protestors’ demands include defunding the police, reallocating that funding towards community programs, and freeing everyone who has been arrested for protesting over the past few weeks.

Actually let me help you out with that one. Little do most Americans know the Supreme Court has ruled in several cases that police has no obligation to protect or help you. Crazy huh. See Warren vs Dc or Deshaney vs Winnebago or Castle Rock vs Gonzalez and several others. In a nutshell the police only have an obligation to deter crime. Hence why you see in a place like C.H.O.P. there is little and probably even NO CRIME, because their are no police. Do your research and then thank me later! 🖤👊✊
