This is great but there is some significant audio drop-offs from 1:58 - 2:05 and at 3:51 - 4:02. We might need a repeat of what you said if it's important.
Very important tutorial. However, you may want to create another one, more detailed, better audio & proper terminology. Your thumbnail shows normal maps, bump maps etc... yet no mention of how to generate these (to export) I highly recommend you do another video so people can absorb or extensive expertise in this process. Thanks legend 🤜🏼💥🤛🏼
Dude I'm from EMVC Telegram Group remember me? I was that dude who was trying like to create Keyboard keys... Nice job buddy! You're absolutely talented!
This worked wonderful, I’ve seen some tutorials and i believe this is one of the most direct way. I have a problem tho… i thoughtthat it was the light, but no… when i render i get a lot of white spots on the texture and i can’t figure out how to solv it… any idea?
Do I need other software than Blender in every tutorial I've seen requires some other software to follow tutorials? Oh, can you fix the audio it keeps skipping! Please let me know soonest. Do you plan to update this tutorial showing each button you use?
Not in this case. He is basically doing the same thing you would do in substance designer using the shader nodes to create black and white information and then deriving things like height and normal information. The cool thing about doing this procedurally directly in the shader is that you can then do things like mix shaders or use nodes to create volumetric effects with realtime masks and vector math. Substance alchemist can do something similar to this extracting pbr maps from a single image, there is a free program called materialize that lets you do the same thing.
its a year late but i guess ill comment anyways haha, you have to subdivide your initial plane, i usually do a 100 and then once more, also right click smooth in object mode to get better shading with cycles for things like heightmaps.
For anyone wondering why CTRL+T wont work... just enable the NODE WRANGLER addon in preferences.
thanks brother should have said something
thank you so much!
This is great information! This channel deserves more recognition!
Thanks man Really appreciate you

Wow this is a unique video.
Good work bro, Thanksss
Welcome 👍
Awesome tutorial
Glad you liked it
shekemen astalkew!!
Amazing
Thanks man thank you for all the support
Terrible audio. btw you showed us nodes and stuff, but you didn't tell us why you did stuff. Very hard to understand.
Good tutorial ,except for the fact that u explain so fast like a train i have to go back 10 second many time , anyway i subscribed and liked the video
Does the texture I creates only work in blender? Is there a way to export the texture as maps for other programs like c4d or unity?
Yep you can use save as to create a copy somewhere else (uv editing mode)
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

@@dreamsprayanimation Thank you for your reply.
Can this setup be used for skin shading...
of course it can
thank u soo much
Happy to help
where tf is screencast keys i DONT HAVE IT
the displacement just makes the material look like a bunch of triangles
