  • The second in our video project series, this is a two part project. Unfortunately cutting the footage down to 15 minutes has left out the firing schedules... so here they are (keeping in mind differences in all kilns):
    Tack fuse:
    139 to 566, hold 15. 139 to 677, hold 10. 167 to 718, hold 5. AFAP to 510, hold 90 (longer than usual, but recommended). 110 to 427, hold 10. 180 to 50, hold 0.
    Flow fuse:
    180 to 566, hold 10. 200 to 677, hold 10. 250 to 819, hold 50. AFAP to 510, hold 60. 110 to 427, hold 10. 180 to 50, hold 0.
    Slump:
    139 to 150, hold 10. 139 to 566, hold 10. 90 to 665, hold 10. AFAP to 510, hold 60. 110 to 427, hold 10. 180 to 50, hold 0.

Thx so much for this video. Did you cold work your cut edges before fusing them?

Thanks for taking time which allowed me to do a somewhat similar bowl with out having to have a long learning curve.

Next step in complexity is taking the finished melt and resulting it through a stainless steel screen ;) Google screen melts for info

mix your primo in advance, and spray it on with a auto-body paint sprayer... For best results.
