    I enjoyed the video as a new follower and appreciate your sharing with us all. I like the versa-stack system but have never seen what you displayed today. That system looks super handy! Keep Up The HUSTLE!

      Thanks for the kind words about our videos! We really appreciate it.
      I think the TradeStack system is an upgraded/newer (?) version of the VersaStack system. I was able to look at them side-by-side and the TradeStack seemed a little more sturdy. It’s made so someone who already has the VersaStack can use those pieces. Thanks again for watching and commenting. Let us know if you have any specific videos you’d like to see.

    You are the only other people I’ve seen use this tool box. I love the way I can get to everything. I had planned to do a feature on it after I got questions as I walked by it in a video.

    You could get 1 or 2 (depending on size)
    dollar store wood cutting boards to use on the lid to create a flat surface to put stuff on as well as use as intended. 😊

    We currently use a couple of much larger Plano totes. One for kitchen gear and one for general gear like a couple of fire logs, extra rope, etc. They're sturdy and weatherproof. We segregate smaller items (like cutlery) into smaller totes, but it still means digging through a large box to find small items. A set of tool boxes would make more sense. One of our camping buddies has a set of tool boxes for his kitchen and camp stuff. They're Milwaukee Packout or something similar.

    • @CoolestCampersEver
      @CoolestCampersEver  8 місяців тому

      Yea, we also use those black totes with the yellow lids that are readily available at all the hardware stores (and they're inexpensive!). I think the toolbox options are good for the smaller things one might use for kitchen items. Thanks for watching and commenting. Happy camping!

      Thanks for that tip! There are several out there that are similar. Dewalt and Stanley also make them. It's usually just a matter of who carries what brand. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    Man, I cannot decide between a toolbox like this or a modular system like Milwaukee pack out where I can take pieces off and move it somewhere without taking whole unit. But this one probably significantly cheaper and still holds a lot with divided compartments. One thing I have found from watching so many of these tool box chuck boxes. I get to save quit a bit of space since I don’t drink coffee. And my wife and I aren’t the biggest hot chocolate drinkers either. Even then a few packets of Swiss miss take sup a lot less space than a container of instant coffee, press, and creamers 😅

    • @CoolestCampersEver
      @CoolestCampersEver  5 місяців тому

      We looked at the modular systems and may at some point at least give one a try. But we’re pretty happy with this current setup. There are definitely pros and cons to just about any option.
      I couldn’t go without my coffee whether camping or not. Ha! But you are correct in that it does require taking some extra items. Thanks for watching the video and commenting. Happy camping!!

    Does it fit standing up when the Go is in Travel Mode (lowest mode)?

    • @CoolestCampersEver
      @CoolestCampersEver  8 місяців тому +1

      It does not. I will roll it in, then just pull the handle back and lay it on the back. But that's a great question and we might make a quick video showing that it doesn't fit upright. Thanks for watching and asking.

    • @kingstonsean
      @kingstonsean 8 місяців тому

      @@CoolestCampersEverThanks for the reply. I didn't think it would fit, but my GO is difficult to get to right now and measure it. I was also thinking about turning it on it's side. As long as you pack it carefully your stuff won't get too jumbled.

    I'm so glad I found you. I was looking for folks who have a Sylvan Sport Go and hear from that community. Unfortunately, they are all on Facebook and I walked away from Facebook years ago. Looking forward to all your adventures with the "Go" since we are seriously looking at this option for camping. Question: Is there a physical location where we could look at a "Go" or is everything done online?

    • @CoolestCampersEver
      @CoolestCampersEver  Рік тому

      We're glad you found us, too, and glad these videos might be helpful. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have questions or want to see a specific kind of video about the GO! We bought ours from someone fairly local to us (20 miles away!), but we had never seen them in person before. I would check RV shows in your area, or RV sales businesses. Good luck!

    I thought this was going to be a genuine camp kitchen that you had customised around a Craftsman toolbox, that was going to open-up and host a stove, possibly a collapsible sink &/or handwash station, prep-area, etc. As it turns out, it's just a review of a toolbox that you happen to put some of your camping equipment in. This is not what many (if not most) viewers interpret as a Kitchen-box. I mean, it is a nice storage solution; but, that's all it is. It is not a Camp Kitchen.

    • @CoolestCampersEver
      @CoolestCampersEver  7 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for watching and commenting. Would you mind sharing what you define as a kitchen box? I can't imagine a Craftsman toolbox doing all the things you mentioned...stove, sink, prep area. We needed a way to carry kitchen utensils and this is what we've come up with. Would love to see other options if you can share them. Thanks again.

      @CoolestCampersEver Hello there: most campers, tailgaters, weekend warriors, etc., understand a Camp Kitchen (or Chuck Box) to be a variation on a theme such as this: ua-cam.com/video/9XDjmrDHvdI/v-deo.htmlsi=13Wo1g4J2bRAnv8E, or pod tailored to the back of a car, and a quick YT search, throws up 100s of these. Also, dedicated proprietary items such as the camp/field-kitchens from the likes of Kampa, etc. So, seeing you describe a toolbox based solution as such, raises expectations above just the box/tote you choose to put your kitchen items in. You could just as easily be describing a standard kitchen drawer stack or large box...

  • @tracker5849

    Nice box but no camp essentials...but i guess if you glamp you dont need kitchen items

      That might be the case, Jerry. However, DeWalt and Stanley make very similar versions. Links are below. Thanks for watching and commenting.
