Perfect timing with this info for me. Been a long term WAT customer, your’re serviced the trans in my ‘13 Hilux ever since I have had it and it has one of your coolers installed. Just upgraded to a 2019 Prado and You’re right, no trans dipstick and I can’t even detect a trans service in the service booklet. I’m local to you guys so will be calling soon for a trans service and cooler. Cheers
Gday, this was a brilliant video, you guys really go the extra step with your products and stand by your word, I’d certainly like to see more videos like this for sure, cheers
sometimes a paperback is easier to read and see it all in one spot rather than scrolling up and down on your phone and going between 2 different documents to find out things
Just had my cooler kit arrive for my fortuner The lockup kit for the fortuner is definitely a purchase I will be making Personally I much prefer paper instructions with the option of a qr code if you need a better quality photo rather then a printed one Can't beat old school paper instructions to follow
Great video and info guys. Much prefer the paper instructions. I put them into a clear sleeve booklet so I can use it at the car when doing the job, and not have to worry about oily hands.
When I go to the website and I start to input my details, I get a pop up that won’t let me go any further unless I agree to sign up for marketing stuff. Very annoying.
Why has my bright red ATF oil lost its color the last time I checked and has now become transparent like water after 3 years? feels good between the fingers and doesn't smell burnt, usually pulls carefully cart in other times calm state traffic
Another great Aussie company making our lives better. Question though, i have a 2011 Kluger "sealed for life" tranny with 200,000klms since new, no problems. But have heard if i change the fluid now, it could do more damage than good. True or False? Since dealers never ask to change auto fluid!
No such thing as a sealed for life transmission, that just means no dip stick (fill and check from under the car) and the dealer doesn't include in the service schedule so the services are cheaper. We recommend all transmissions are serviced every 40,000kms.
What do you think of adding a inline spin on filter kit. The filter is about 20 to 30 micron engine oil filter. One brand is by B&M racing. Thank you from Thailand.
While there are slight differnces the scan gauge will work as long as you have the transmission temp as the highlighted item all the time otherwise useless.
Yes, you most certainly can and we have them on special at the moment. Here is the direct link and you can purchase direct on line as well, delivered to Poland. There is two different kits depending on what month in 2020 you have. automatictransmission.com.au/heavy-duty-transmission-coolers/

I prefer paper instructions , I don't like handling my phone with dirty hands. I want to swap my manual to auto in my 2016 Hilux , Have you done any conversions ?
La conversión de 5 velocidades a 6 velocidades es muy difícil y también muy costosa, sería mucho más barato vender el auto y comprar un modelo posterior que ya tenga la transmisión de 6 velocidades.

I recently bought a 2020 Hilux, so all this kit is on my list of must-haves.

Hi lads .
Yeah another great video.
Cool products 👍.
& For me paper all the way.
Would love a deep pan, looks good boys, can’t wait to get my hands on these.
As a sparky I'm 33 always love to have a paper copy easy reference. Both options should be considered options

I have a 2017 8th Gen petrol 4.0-V6 Hilux with the same 6-speed AC60 Gearbox. Is it possible to use it there too?

Not really required for the more modern autos but you can do as it won't hurt anything.
Is lock up available for the 2022 Fortuner men ?
Got a cooler on my 2020 dmax best thing i done
Does the qr code take you to the video tutorial
Is the temperature in the cooler line the same or different to what you would read on a scan gauge?
While there are slight differnces the scan gauge will work as long as you have the transmission temp as the highlighted item all the time otherwise useless.
Fanbloodytastic!!!!!!
Do you have instructions to fit lock up kit, didn't see on website, keen to order one
Just adding some polish to them and they will be up before the first kit ships
Awesome, ordered a unit today, keen to fit it.
Can you a Dmax one please???
Hello, I am the owner of an Isuzu d-max 2020. My question is whether I can buy this cooling kit from you and what is its price. I'm from Poland
Yes, you most certainly can and we have them on special at the moment. Here is the direct link and you can purchase direct on line as well, delivered to Poland. There is two different kits depending on what month in 2020 you have.

Shouldn’t this also read Hilux and Fortuner 6 speed upgrades? Or are they different somehow? (Talking 2021+ facelift model onwards)
Never mind… your clarify further in the video intro. Update the title though!!
For the most part yes and even the lock-up is the same kit but we need to confirm the CANbus reads the same.

Hey boys does this suit the transmission in a 2016 Hilux 4x4 with the 2.4L diesel engine?
Yes it does and here is the web link. It just doesn't menstion 2.4L but I will correct that now.

Hey fellas, so the value body fits the Asin 6 speed eg 2021 dmax as well?
Yes it does, here is the web link:

I prefer paper instructions , I don't like handling my phone with dirty hands. I want to swap my manual to auto in my 2016 Hilux , Have you done any conversions ?
While it can be done, the cost to do so is far more expensive than just replacing the car with the same model Hilux that is already factory auto.
