I love watching these old videos. Man those girls have improved! I agree with crsard, would have been nice to see what they could have done with saiidi steps mixed in, might have really rounded out the choreography and made a dynamic mix.
Beautiful dance! The Indigo are pioneers in what they do, and this is a perfect example. Yet, I'm surprised anyone would go as far as to call this performance Saiidi. The one and only thing about it that references Saiidi is the music. The dance makes no Saiidi references whatsoever. I expect to get smeared for saying it! LOL! But let us remember: "Saiidi" is not just a rhythm. It is a people, a culture, a style; a dance that means so much more than just Dum-Tek_DumDum_Tek. :) :)
