    What I would give for a garage this size! Been watching all of your GT4 videos. My GT4 is estimated to arrive this August. Can't wait, been saving for 15 years for this moment.

    Would it be possible to make og hex center caps for wheels?

  • @DarkTouch
    @DarkTouch Рік тому

    on that central diffuser part, would it have been possible to attached it at the front FIRST, near the bar/tiedown , then screw in the back near the exhausts? im thinking the rear has more flex and can be kinda pushed/pulled to reach the screw holes more easily than the front...
    Also... you should mark any torqued bolts with the torque needed so you don't have to look it up (sharpie) and also mark the bolts with a tamper torque marker paint so next time you see the bolts you can tell if they've moved or not. and I would apply locktite to the threads.

    Can you cut 2 washers to fit in that piece you cut to fit around that link . Like square off 1 side so the bolt still grabs the washer but also grabs the plastic

    Would it be possible to get fabric the same color as your ceiling and put acoustic foam behind it to cut down reverb in a big house? I think it would work like carpet but just on your ceiling.

    I installed those same Rennline bits on my 2010 Cayman S shortly after getting it and the brace made a difference to me. Then I followed up with the Cayman R stabilizer bar and that was a + too. Did you get a difference you could feel on your GT4 ?

      I didn't notice a difference, but it sure looks cool under the car.

    Hey Matt, how important is that stabilizer i’m thinking the tow hooks can be installed without that just concerned that the diffuser might be catching air but I really didn’t see I would think it’s more important that it fit flush than having a stabilizer just a thought and I do like the rims definitely do something with the center caps have a great one .

      I was thinking the same thing. I think you could just nix the bar and have an nice, easy set-up.

    Sounds like you need a portable single post car lift. You can stick in a corner. Or maybe a Hoffman lift.

      The problem with those is that they are just for storage. I want to be able to get around and under the car to work on it.

    I'm curious about that new hose and how it compares to the Stoflex. I realize it might be due to how much air hose you pulled out and the fact that it is new, but can you work out that twist and get it to lay flat? The way it coiled up there and how light it is reminds me of that springy Flexzilla hose that always seems to get twisted up.

      I need to use it more to see how it does, but the first dozen or so uses have been great.

      You obviously don't understand the Obsessed lifestyle. Hayseed Nascar and New Balance wearing Corvette guys put crap all over their garages that looks stupid. My garage has always been stark with nothing on the walls other than the essentials. Why clutter bugs have to display everything they own is beyond me. Old gas pumps and stupid posters is a senseless waste of money. Less is more!
