I agree with Woo; the Beretta is one of the coolest looking handguns of all time. I'm also a fan of the Colt 1911, Python, as well as the Desert Eagle by Magnum Research.
Initially my favourite is the Heckler & Koch USP and Mk23 Mod 0, but then I started to appreciate the lines of the Beretta 92 after watching this video.
All excellent choices! Being a James Bond fan, I like the Walther PPK and P99 as far semi-automatics go. I am also a fan of the Colt Python and the Smith & Wesson Model 29 (Dirty Harry's gun), the Browning Hi Power, Sig Sauer P226 and the H&K Mk 23 Mod 0.
I remember first seeing the Beretta 92FS in the video game Max Payne and then I went and handled one in a local gun shop and I knew I had to get one. I bought one in 2012 it was the M9 Commercial Replica that Beretta sold for civilians wanting 92 with the US military markings. The shop also had an Italian made 92FS but the USA made M9 version was $20 cheaper and that's what I went with. It's been my EDC gun ever since.
Fun fact: The Taurus PT92 was often used as a stand in for a Berretta 92 in various Hong Kong action films when a real 92 wasnt available. When unsure, check if its a frame, or a slide mounted safety. So for each of you Prideful Itallians, there should be a similar looking prideful brazillian knockoff with a less ergonomic safety
Yep, they took Mr Changs character straight from Chow Yun Fat from The Killer. The whole series itself was like a homage to John Woo and HK action/cinema. Same as matrix which was choreographed by Yuen Wo Ping as fight director etc.
3:12 it takes a lot of 9mm ammunition to put a guy to the pavement... lol Evidence of Mr. Woo's scientific theory of "levitating gunshot wounds" in effect haahhaa
California mags are 10. Compact 13. Standard is 15, A1 mags hold 17. 18 rounders that are the exact same size as the 10, 15 and 17 also exist and there are lots of 20 roundeds that stick out of the bottom of the grip to varying degrees but not very far. I've also seen mags that stick out pretty far that hold 30, 32 and 35 rounds which was the biggest I ever saw for it. Almost all mags don't stick out of the grips in this video so they would hold 18 at most but generally probably 15.
@@davidjackson2524 Not sure what you mean. The standard magazines hold 15 cartridges. The cartridges it fires are 9x19mm parabellum. It's a .355 caliber single bullet on each cartridge.
John Woo took this composition from another film. The original film is called "Birdy" and the composition is called Birdy's Flight. So that you don't have to look for her for a long time, here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/yuYnC6l9dS0/v-deo.html You don't have to thank. I myself have been looking for this music for a very long time.
I actually have seen videos where bullet strikes create sparks. It has to hit the right surface, and be in the right lighting, but it does happen on rare occasions, not just in movies
"The Killer", The first "A Better Tomorrow" (2 and 3 were ok) and "Hard Boiled"- 3 of the best action movies ever made IMO. "The Killer" Blu-Ray is.. well.. killer.
A BETTER TOMOROW , IT FIRST FILM HONGONG THAT BERRETA 92F APPEARED IN FIRIRING SHOT ,IT UNIQUE WOO'S OWN STYLE IT COOL AND BEAUTIFUL DANCING ,ALLSO SUBMACHINE GUN "MINI UZI "AND "HK MP5 A2.
i read that the gun used in the film was actually some taurus model which is a counterpart of the beretta 92, and then on wiki its talking about some norinco model which is a chinese copy of some other gun im confused
A better tomorrow , John woo deliver some of the best gun fights never before seen on the screen
Especially the massacre at the end of part 2.

@Godon Gurando is another T-800 OK webley is shit, tho i agree strongly with the rest nambu type 94 looks futuristic

Exactly. The Beretta is a character all to itself.
You just listed the only 3 handguns I own- no Desert Eagle. I had plenty of others but these were the only ones I kept and for good reason.

You've got to hand it to the Italians: they've got beautiful cars, beautiful women, beautiful food, and beautiful guns.
Also: beautiful art.
Give it to the Chinese though, John Woo made the best action films ever, and it's very hard to watch others after seeing these masterpieces
The beretta 92 is like a work of art into a state of the art pistol
You've got to hand it to the Chinese. For inventing gunpowder as well as the earliest firearms.
I agree 100%
2:17 sliding down the stairs is the most badass thing I've seen twice Chow yun-fat did the same thing in hard boiled🤘

I think the Berreta is also seen in a few of John Woo's US films like Hard Target and MI2.
Nicholas Cage dual wields two Berettas during the final shootout in Face/Off as well.
Christian Slater even gets one in Broken Arrow.
Chow Yun Fat brought some of his Beretta action to "The Replacement Killers". The director was a fan of Woo's.
John Woo and chow both together made every character real and unique
I like the extremely close distance shots. Something you don't see much in movies.
B is for Beretta, and it's good enough for me!
S is for Stechkin. I mean APS. This pistol is more rare than Beretta 92.
NOW these are action movies
This is exquisite. Very nicely done.
I miss the old, gritty mono sounds of Mark Gor's 92F.
Mr Chang from Black Lagoon.
JayTekken1 mrchange is based of chicken fats character from a better tommorow 2
GoatHunter 12 With the scarf from Chicken Fat in The Killer.

Great compilations! Haven't seen lots of beretta's firing this way and it isn't enough. Lol!
No wonder he likes this gun! It seems to have almost unlimited clip size!
The 92 is the official super cop firearm.
2:38 when you got a wrong answer
Beretta 92fs featured in all 3 Blade movies
I noticed the use of the beretta first in stranglehold as a kid then hard boiled. Subconsciously that may be why I like it so much and carry one today
really nice looking gun
You gotta go guns Akimbo when you have the Beretta's, who cares if it's "impractical" it looks awesome!!
9:50 okay that's fucking cool.
3:12 it takes a lot of 9mm ammunition to put a guy to the pavement... lol
Evidence of Mr. Woo's scientific theory of "levitating gunshot wounds" in effect haahhaa
Loving them they the best alway jump when need it never jam
John Woo is a legend!
I also have one for each hand. They don’t even have much recoil so you can easily control both at once.
It makes me wonder how many bullets are in a Berreta cartridge?

What’s the name of the music in the beginning?

a unique weapon..or i may be biased i'm half italian...sorry
@Gōdon Gurando Wow over half the guns you named are Berettas. Quite a comparison
Bad news guys: No matter how cool you are, wearing shades in the house and all, lead bullets don't spark.
Not even with the usual copper jacketing?

I like the CZ75 more, it's like a sleeker cousin to the Beretta.
>Slavshit
I prefer the 75 as well.
it's actually bigger and heavier than a 92 as per their actual dimensions. Less reliable than a 92 as well.
The CZ75 is more akin to a Browning Hi Power. I have a Hi Power along with my Beretta M9 and both are great guns
Imagine that with 2 Auto 9's!
Tokarev, P210, M1911A1 and Beratta M92FS. Best action movie pistols
From John Woo, the director of Face/Off and Broken Arrow.
I've also wanted to do a montage of movies featuring the Beretta 92
Legend...
Bless your heart.
I like 👍 beretta 92fs easy to use
Stephen Chow in his serious tone film.
Stephen Chow was "shot" in the first film, only.
