I never even heard of Litvinovsky until I was introduced to his compositions through HalidonMusic. I'm so glad I was -- it was like making a new friend. Thank you very much for sharing his music with us all.
This is an EXCELLENT collection! The title of each individual selection is very evocative of their mood and content. Alexander Litvinovsky is a modern genius, without a doubt. Thank you ever so much Halidon Music for sharing this with the world!
This guy sounds like he's composing epic OSTs for modern movies and games. I get the sense that John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and James Howard learned from his works the most.
Navire Dans la Tempête is my absolute favorite piece out of this album. It's just so fun and upbeat, so perilous and mysterious, I love it! I discovered the piece through your Classical Music For Villains playlist, and it just- SCREAMED one of my characters. This song also gives me a really nice nautical feel that pairs extremely well with the rest of the suite and absolutely stands out in a nice way. The piece also pairs fantastically with many aspects of my Fantasy Worldbuilding project, and whenever I need a bit of extra fuel to imagine stuff for it, I turn the piece on and just listen! One of the many scenarios I can imagine with the song is just- a Royal Ball with many in attendance. The recently married heirs to the Kingdom's Throne take interest in the song as it gets played, leading to a fast-paced, fun journey to the Orchestral Stage involving leaps on tables, runs across lines of guards, trips up and down beautiful spiral staircases, and the two propelling eachother across the way, all just to get the name of the song and where to get the sheet music. That's kind of what I'm about to do IRL, that's how much that part of the suite means to me. Litvinovsky hit the nail on the board with this one, and I hope he makes more stunning suites and pieces like this in the future!
That's wonderful ViktorS, thank you so much! We were very excited when Litvinovsky's new suite came out (and we still are to be honest), so it's great to hear that you enjoy it!

You mean Philip Glass? He's done amazing work, loads and loads. I think Litvinovsky is influenced by by him too, as I hear elements of Philip Glass in his 'Tales of the Magic Tree', which is also gorgeous, don't miss that one!
I would like to congratulate Litvinovsky on that transition from the Shadows in the Garden to the Duel of Jealousy. The abrupt ending right before the dramatic opening of the sword-fight sounds like a sincere scene in the garden was shattered by a spontaneous duelist charging out from the shadows. I quite like a good sword-fight so for the story to end in one is simply magnificent. Very whimsical and lovely overall. Each piece just becomes more charming with every listen.

'Procession du Crepuscule' is a haunting piece. Having only glanced at the opera synopsis for context, I'd love to understand this part's meaning more deeply.

¡Tu comentario nos da mucha alegría! Es un honor y un placer haberte presentado su música; una vez que la descubres, nunca podrás volver atrás, es tan hermosa 🤍
Never have I been more jealous a composer wrote such beautiful and exciting pieces when, as a French Horn player, I cannot play them with my orchestra. Nonetheless, I will still ask our conductor if our strings could play at least parts of this. I'd love to hear that in a good concert hall and just sink into the sounds.
This was really nice. I had heard a few selections here on Halidon, but this was nice to have a complete suite. Music like this shows me how many film score composers take inspiration from classical music like this. It also inspired me to read about the opera itself.
Il tuo commento ci riempie di felicità, Lucia! Qui a Halidon Music siamo grandi ammiratori della musica di Litvinovsky e quando qualcuno lo scopre e lo apprezza ci dà una grande soddisfazione ❤

I think "la chasse commence" would translate better as "the hunt begins", or even just "the chase begins". "Hunt" better gives the context though. "Hunting", especially in the US implies what in the UK is called "deer stalking", where a single person goes out and tries to get close enough to shoot the game. "The hunt" implies horses and hounds, pursuing the game. "La chasse" is "the chase" with the same meaning as "the hunt".
So are you actually an official distributor of music then? Like you pay the correct fees to the owners of the music and keep part for your work finding an audience? Because I see you selling albums, but I also see you talking about your videos being copyright struck. I imagine that a channel on your scale would have a hard time just stealing music and selling it as your own. Not to mention that at that scale it would just seem somewhat wrong to deprive the owners of their rightful returns.

Thank you all so much for what you do. I’m usually getting in my car to go to work when I get the notification for your videos. You all are my favorite part of my drive to work.
I must confess…I was very worried this upload was an April Fools prank. Very happy it wasn’t !
Oh dear, can you imagine? We don't really do anything for April Fools, but now that we think of it maybe we could have uploaded something like "The Worst Classical Music Pieces" just to see how people would react 😂 Jokes aside, thank you very much for your lovely words, we appreciate them so much. It's a pleasure to know our playlists keep you company while you drive to work!
Une magnifique découverte que ce travail, félicitations depuis la France à Bélarus.

@@HALIDONMUSIC Thank you very much, I'll take a look
I used the 2nd song on here for the soundtrack to the book I'm writing. It's my heroine tiptoeing around and conniving to get her own way.
Breathtaking!
Isn't it just? We swear Litvinovsky has magic, because his compositions are always spellbinding 😍✨ What did you think of his two other suites "Le Grand Cahier" and "Tales of the Magic Tree"?
22:29 VIII. Menuet. Sous la fenêtre de la tour (Minuet. Under the tower window) is especially remarkable.
Captivating. ❣️🇨🇦
So happy you enjoy Litvinovsky's new suite Roberta, thank you! (Also, it's good to see you again, hope you're doing fine 🌺)
@Halidon, or anyone else, what is the name of the classical "period" we are in now, and when did it start?
soo nice 😍
Happy you enjoy it, thank you very much! More music by Alexander Litvinovsky can be found here on UA-cam or on Spotify if you'd like to give it a listen 😊
I was listening to your “Music for Writing” yesterday, and “X: Les ombres dan le jardin” was so beautiful and touching that I had to look it up and find out more about it.
I love that this is what you put up today!
Amazing, i love this so much!!
We couldn't be happier to hear it! Have you got a favourite piece? (Tough question, we know). What did you think of Litvinovsky's other two suites for string orchestra? If you haven't listened to them yet we definitely recommend checking them out ✨

Is there a more beautiful 1st movement anywhere? Rhetorical question, but this is tear-evoking beauty.
It is completely unrelated to this video but I wondered why in the music theme collections Wagner is always absent and was heartbroken to see that the "best of Wagner" by Halidonmusic disappeared. Anyone knows why?
It is a faire question , because I love Wagner !
We need a complete work of
Litnovsky,...

Would this music piece be adapted into piano adaptation?
Really like this
Sad story😢
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is so beautiful, a shame it ended so quickly
@HALIDONMUSIC is this available on vinyl somewhere? Would love to hear this off vinyl.
why does "Ship in a storm" reminds me of the soundtrack of pirates of the caribbean?? sounds nearly the same to me...
Will it be available on vinyl?
I think "la chasse commence" would translate better as "the hunt begins", or even just "the chase begins". "Hunt" better gives the context though. "Hunting", especially in the US implies what in the UK is called "deer stalking", where a single person goes out and tries to get close enough to shoot the game. "The hunt" implies horses and hounds, pursuing the game. "La chasse" is "the chase" with the same meaning as "the hunt".
AMAZING WORK! I would love to program this with my extremely talented youth orchestra. Is this available for purchase/rental??
Thank you so much for your interest, Kristofer! Our sales team has been in touch so please refer to them for any further inquiry 😊
Who is Golaud and who is Pelleas ? Golaud married Melisande and loved Pelleas.
Get a part of the picture : Melisande (me) but the other two ?????
So are you actually an official distributor of music then? Like you pay the correct fees to the owners of the music and keep part for your work finding an audience? Because I see you selling albums, but I also see you talking about your videos being copyright struck. I imagine that a channel on your scale would have a hard time just stealing music and selling it as your own. Not to mention that at that scale it would just seem somewhat wrong to deprive the owners of their rightful returns.
« La chasse commence » will for any Mount&Blade Warband veteran player stir something within oneself.
