I love when I come across an exhaust vid and it’s well made. Fly byes, extra revs and shit. My pipe vids are the same so hats off and well done on a good solid exhaust vid.
Yeah depending on the tire is really what youll have to keep in mind. Sorry I can't be more help, I rubbed when I first lifted it. A simple Nor Cal mod will fix most rubbing guys experience but that involves cutting into your truck. I want to say with a zero offset, the largest you can go is like a 265/70/17? Thanks! When I have a bit more time I plan on doing some more videos on it. It has coilovers now and I want to do some review on the tires since there aren't many out there. Or a desert thrashing video wouldn't be bad.
I plan on doing this setup with a 4.5” maxtrac spindle and stock rearblocks with bilstiens all around. Do you have any more pics of it like this? Running method 310 con 6 with 285/70/17 hopefully it will look just as good
Yup, had rub, had to trim. That being said, these grabbers really measured to exactly 33 tall, and even 12.5 wide. Most tires don’t actually measure what they say they are.
Hey, I have the same exact truck at home. You ever notice the stereo is super quiet? Even with the "adjustment for speed" set to max, 100% volume feels like 50%. I was thinking about replacing my head unit for it but I wasn't sure if that's the issue. Also, you ever see the oil pressure fluctuating on the dash? Mine cruises at about 40 but when I come to a stop at a light it drops down to like 20-25. When I idle and its at temp it bounces between 30 and 40 a good bit. Thanks for the exhaust video man!
I tore the stock radio out rather quickly. Sounds like yours may have issues, but with no Bluetooth factory they are somewhat trash to me lol. That’s why I pulled mine out and put in a touch screen double din unit. Yes oil pressure will fluctuate. Mine didn’t too. Remember the oil pumps on these are mechanically driven off the crank. So as rpm goes up, so does the speed of the oil pump.
I love this exhaust setup, it sounds like it really wakes the truck up. Would you recommend this exhaust for a teenager new to the truck game ? I am looking for something to wake the truck up (2013 Sierra 1500) but nothing so loud it’s obnoxious or annoying to drive.
I would recommend this set up, as well as the Carven Exhausts Progressive series cat back as well. I would think the Carven set up would be slightly easier to install as their muffler is miniature compared to this DB by Corsa one in the video. I do believe they are about equal in price, but if I was to do it all over again, for the sake of the black tip I would have gone with the Carven system. The sounds are similar, but I doubt myself wishing for more sound when cruising around town with the Corsa kit. From what I have seen in videos, the Carven has that extra volume (but not too much) down low with a similar all out sound.
Straight through glass pack style! Its a big boy though, a little bigger than the stock muffler for these trucks. Chambered from what I remember is not the average muffler design, but more so for Flowmaster mufflers.
Did it require any tuning to run right after the install. I figured the airflow wasn’t enough to matter but I thought I’d ask. I have a bone stock 2013 Sierra z71 with 83k. Getting a guy with a tuner to shut off AFM Monday.

No I did not have it floored. Also of note, when in park or neutral, the computer only lets you rev to about 4k rpm. There is still about another 1500 rpm left in the range that you don't get to hear in park/neutral. Also, I filmed it all on my iPhone 7 at the time so some sound is distorted. With the engine under load and on the throttle hard it makes an amazing noise!
